Seriously.... Defensively every game plan starts with shutting down the oppenents rushing game. This is the ABC of football.

Planning is one thing. Executing and doing it is another. Hell, who knows you may shut Hester down completely or he may have the game I envisioned in my original post. You or I won't be the deciding factor. It will be the 22 players on the Superdome turf.

For LSU it'll either be Hester, Dorsey or Flynn. Probably most likely in that order. The media and everyone LOVES Hester and especially Dorsey so I can see either one of them getting it, but if Flynn plays well it will be hard to ignore.

For OSU, I can't see y'all winning unless Beanie has a great game. and like some people stated earlier, Gholston could explode if we can't block him...

Please run Hester between the tackles. Remember, SEC speed.. all the sudden you guys can beat us at our game? :tongue2:

OSU - Beanie
LSU - Flynn

You're going to see Hester run between the tackles. As I stated previously the key to his success is the O line blocking. If you stuff him on a consistant basis that's a good sign for you. It's just a hunch but I think we may have a better chance running the ball between the tackles than taking it wide.

Always remember that bowl games have a way of going completely the opposite of how you predict.

That's a good point for the lesser bowls, but I think I see our game going pretty close to the way the pundits are projecting.

I see both coaches pretty much sticking with what got them to the Big Dance. You know the old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't try & fix it."
