Hence why I said 20-25nmins a gmae. Grinding it out in the playoffs against your Diops, Duncans, Bynums and Mings. Strictly for that final push to get that trophy... times running out. Gasol makes no sense, we have enough scorers, we need a banger inside that can block and rebound.

I gotta hand it to you. You know your basketball. ESPN is reporting that the suns and the heat are in talks for shaq! get rid of marion, i'm all for it. a big man is what we've been missing since 1994

And as you as my witness fourteenandoh I've been parading that ficticous Shaq to the Suns deal for a couple months now. This could set up some of the sickest playoffs in a long time. Imagine the Lakers vs. Suns in the West.... dayum ratings killer... Shaq vs. Kobe II. I think he's exactly what the Suns need to put them over the top. He doesn't have to be the man or the second man... he can just do his thing and not worry about carrying the team on his shoulders. Stoudamire would benifit the most from this. Talk about Shaq, Stoudamire, Grant Hill, Raja Bell and Steve Nash. Even if he trails on plays... they take such quick shots that they'll either hit their shots... or Shaq will down there for the trailer.

Please happen!!!!

Report: Heat, Suns seek deal for O'Neal

Wednesday, February 6, 2008 3:11 AM

Shaquille O'Neal is prepared for the Miami Heat to trade him, a confidant of the 14-time All-Star center told the Associated Press last night.
O'Neal's associate, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to reveal anything publicly, indicated a move could be imminent.
"Shaq thinks something will happen," the associate said.
The Miami Herald reported that the Heat is in "serious and ongoing" trade negotiations with the Phoenix Suns. A Heat spokesman said the team had no comment, and several Suns officials didn't immediately return phone calls from the AP.

I was a Celtics fan as a child, but Barkley was my favorite player, by far. I never really rooted for anyone, till Chuck went to the Suns. This is cool. I hope it's a Suns/Celtics Finals. That would be one for the ages.

Sick!! Glad to see the Suns get him. All the Laker talk about now being the best in the West was getting sickening.

Shaquille O'Neal is on his way to Phoenix, literally.

O'Neal's physical exam is the only prerequisite for Phoenix's acquisition of O'Neal for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks to take place today. O'Neal is on a flight to the Valley this morning and is scheduled to arrive midday.

The expectation is that O'Neal will pass the physical and a trade call will be placed with the league to consummate the deal by the end of the day. O'Neal could even be in attendance at US Airways Center tonight for Phoenix's 7 p.m. game with New Orlean

Doesn't plan to speak to media until Thursday

The Suns have completed the trade that will bring center Shaquille O'Neal to Phoenix in exchange for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks.

O'Neal passed his physical exam to the Suns' satisfaction this afternoon and a trade call was placed with the league to make the trade official. Marion and Banks, who remained in Phoenix this afternoon, still have to pass physicals with Miami in the next 72 hours or the Heat could rescind the deal but that is highly unlikely at this stage.

O'Neal flew into the Valley today and will be in attendance at US Airways Center tonight for Phoenix's 7 p.m. game with New Orleans. He will watch he game from a suite but not speak to the media until Thursday

Hell yeah we did! Shaq stood up at the Suns game a few mins ago as he was introduced in a suite, he pointed at his ring finger as the fans cheered.... I can not wait untill playoffs, these will be some of the best playoffs in years.

I will be curious to see how this plays out, Shaq isn't what he was, but I am sure playing in the Western Conference will inspire him for a year or so. I do see him changing the tempo of the Suns games, since he's not the fastest guy up and down the court you could see a new flavor of basketball. I have heard all day how the trade didn't make any sense, but it actually does, the Suns have had a huge weakness under the basket, the Lakers last year could easily drive on them, it was the outside shots they had problems with. If the guy can get 10 boards and 3 blocks a game you're doing better than you were. I was wondering who would react to the Lakers trade, I figured it would be the Suns or the Spurs. Will be interesting to see what the Spurs do next.

I think the most important thing in this trade is somebody with 4 rings, he'll lead us through the playoffs on and off the court.

Well, that really depends on how motivated he is. If he's actually willing to play, Shaq is a fucking beast, but if he's going to be Shaq and ride out that huge salary of his, you're going to put your fist through your television.

Also, get ready for hack-a-shaq, man, I will tell you, nothing in the world pissed me off more than that shit. Like every time there was 5 minutes to go in a game and we were up by 15+ it was foul foul foul, games lasted for-fucking-ever and he made like 30% of the fucking shots.

One last thing, before you say "lead us through the playoffs" remember, he won his championships with HoF coaches, Phoenix will be different for him in the same way the last two years Lakers teams have been for Phil Jackson.
