Call me a sucker or one of the few, but I truly believe Mike is coming back. Without a doubt. Next year...another run at the NC of course!
I believe it . I believe all of them and will until they say otherwise. no matter what they are going to do.

Ok, say Conley comes backnext year (which I believe he does) and then has another amazing year and leaves as a Soph. What do we do at PG in 2008 with both Butler and COnley gone and Crater, as a Freshman (and I do not say that as a knock on him now :)), the only guy with PG experience?

You mean we can't just run all of our wings (Lighty, Turner, Wallace, Buford, Pryor?) and bigs at them?

Walter Offutt is a combo guard, and could back up Crater. I think junkie/cbf40 and others have chimed in on that subject here: OFFICIAL BBALL RECRUITING PROJECTIONS/GENERAL DISCUSSIONS

If Conley can develop a consistent jump shot, he could seriously turn out to be a great NBA player. His quickness, raw speed, instincts, and leadership are so uncanny for any player, let alone a freshman.

There's just something about him that makes me trust him anytime he has control of the ball.

I don't doubt that he will develop that "shot"

I believe Conley when he says he's coming back, and if Conely and Cook stay, I think there's a very, very good shot Oden stays too.

This team could be downright nasty next season. :banger:

Win Or Lose, Conley Says He's Staying In Columbus

2nd April, 2007 - 12:48 am

The Independent -
Mike Conley, Jr. has been so impressive throughout his freshman season and especially in the NCAA Tournament that many experts believe he would be a lottery pick in the 2007 NBA Draft.

"I'm absolutely set," Conley said when asked if he might come out. "I know what I want to do and that?s come back and play another year."

Asked if the Buckeyes were to win on Monday and Greg Oden declares for the draft would he still return, Conley responded "Yep."

I know you cant really trust what college athletes say until they have to declare for the draft, but this is sounding like he's really coming back next year.

I think Conley has to set the tempo tonight for us in the Nat'l Championship. He gets his points whenever he can but he also opens up everyone else. He drives and kicks, drives and dumps it to Oden or any other way he finds to help us. He is the general out on the floor and he has to have a great game or else we may be in trouble. Good Luck Conley and Oden and their Buckeyes!!!!!!!!!!

GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
