PG Mike Conley (1st Team All BIG, NBA All-Star, Oscar Winner, Minnesota Timberwolves)

From all interviews being done, Conley has said he is returning...Butler said that Conley is returning in his interview that he did...

I think we have the best PG in the country for 07'.

If he improves that jump shot in the offseason he will be unstoppable off the pick n' roll with either Twig, Hunter, Madsen, Koufous, or maybe Oden if he would decide to stay...

I would just like to thank Mike Conley Jr. for me getting the chance to watch him play this season. What he did for this team, and for that matter, to our record books, was simply incredible. Here's hoping there is more to come from Mike, but here's wishing him the best of luck on wherever his journey takes him. The only guy I know of, also, that has the balls to call out Clark Kellogg on live television. You just gotta love Conley. Thanks Mike!

Draft Express
Mike Conley Jr. closed out his freshman season with another excellent all-around performance, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to prevent the Florida Gators from repeating as National Champions. The talented point guard played well beyond his years, as he has been doing all season long, and put together yet another stellar stat-line for the Buckeyes.

Before the tourney, I frankly hadn't given much thought to Conley leaving. His ballhandling and basketball acumen is well beyond his years though and now I'm not so sure. I realize he said he intends to return, but I'll take that with a grain of salt. Millions of dollars are hard to pass up when they are layed out in front of you. Hopefully he comes back, but if he's projected as a lottery pick, I wouldn't blame him for making the jump.

Young PGs are lottery picks when there aren't any other good PGs

Not sure why the laughing face, but young PG's meaning guys out of High school or after their freshmen season really seem to struggle in the NBA, Chris Paul being the exception...

We will see some in the 08' draft unless they struggle in college, but they are scoring PG's with guys like Mayo and Rose...You could also have Collison going early in the 08 draft...

Not sure why you think Collison (only a sophomore) could go early in the draft, yet you seem to imply that Conley wouldn't. If they both come out this year, there's no doubt in my mind that Conley would be taken first out of the two.

I was talking about the 08' draft...I never said Conley wouldnt go early in the 08' draft...

If Conley improves and produces like he did this year there will be no questions about taking him high next year, but right now Scouts will look at his size and overall lack of shooting and the fact that young PG's don't seem to succeed in the NBA and he would slip...

I was laughing at myself for typing nfl

Conley is very good and probably wouldn't struggle as much as others, but regardless he is undoubtedly the #1 PG in the draft and a lottery pick. Brandan Wright probably isn't ready but he will likely be the #3 pick. That's how it works.

Yeah I know how it works...

The only thing I would say is that Acie Law is right up there in terms of best pg...
