better than tippy dye?

Not at this exact moment but it depends on how long he stays. Just my opinion here. Mike doesnt play football either. There isn't anything Mike cannot do on the basketball court, except maybe guard Oden!

Conley finally takes a big step away from Greg Oden's shadows

ATLANTA -- Mike Conley Sr. won an Olympic gold medal in the triple jump. His son could win a gold medal in being overshadowed.
Just when Mike Jr. was getting old enough to start emerging as someone other than the son of a famous father, he became the sidekick of a famous teammate. He has played alongside Ohio State 7-footer Greg Oden since they were sixth graders in AAU ball. They went 103-7 and won three state championships in four seasons together at Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, and Oden, 11 inches taller than Conley, seemed to get 11 times the attention.

[FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]Having grown up with the rock always in my hands, a special appreciation exists for point guards.
And Texas A&M senior Acie Law IV and Ohio State freshman Mike Conley Jr. have displayed eye-catching abilities that put them at the top of my class. UCLA sophomore Darren Collison has proven to be special as well.
However, Law and Conley can do it all and possess a skill 99 percent of all hoopers never attain. These two little dudes are ambidextrous, not only with the dribble but shooting near the hoop.

Conley will be back to improve his game

Dispatch

Mike Conley Jr., the team's starting point guard, will return to OSU next fall for his sophomore season, the player and his father said yesterday.

"Oh, yeah, for sure, definitely," Mike Conley Sr. said. "Mike has done extremely well for himself. I'm just so proud of the work he's put into it. People now are seeing the fruits of the labor.

...

"Yeah, I'll be back," Conley Jr. said. "I'm just like (Oden). I feel I've got a lot of work to do before I can even think about going to the next level. He feels the same way sometimes. I don't know what decision he'll make, but it's the same way with me. I'm still worried about this year and not worried about what's going to happen next year."

It makes me feel a lot better after reading that. Mike Sr. opening up this sports agency had me a little nervous about the prospects of Oden AND Conley returning.

I wish he'd stay a couple of seasons so he could tutor Noopy and Offutt in 08.

If he goes after his Sophomore year, I would assume we'll have another rookie PG in 08? I don't think we'll have anybody else left.
