PG Aaron Craft (B1G 6th MOY '11, Def POY '12, Acad AA, Dolomiti En. TR - Italy)

Three bad games in a row for Craft and Scott. Don't know what the problem is, but they need to get it fixed in a hurry.
Yup. It is almost like Craft is trying to force things and he has not done that in prior seasons. I have never seen him make so many mental errors as he has the past couple games. I think it is a different issue with Scott. Sometimes he seems to go too fast for his own good but you are correct that both of these guys need to get together and fast.

That's what I was seeing the other night. Craft trying to do too much. He's just not a scorer and when this team is struggling to put the ball in the basket, the leader in him wants to try and make up for that weakness. He goes a mile a minute and that doesnt bode well for his offensive style. Unless someone else figures it out, I can see more struggles for Craft on the horizon.

Craft played a great game tonight. Hopefully it will help him be more confident shooting the ball the rest of the year. He still needs to have a little more of a scorer's mentality when he's got those late clock situations as one time it looked like he tried to pass when he had to shoot. I don't really like what they're doing with 10 seconds left in the shotclock basically stopping movement aside from Craft and giving him the ball forcing him to drive to try to make a play when everyone knows what's coming and it usually doesn't work at that point in the clock.

Buckeyes appeared to play with a lot more confidence tonight. Amir needs to play with the same attitude every game. Making shots does wonders to a teams psyche. Craft can hit the 3, just needs to try more often. Ross needs to step it up some more, we know he can shoot. I don't know if the improved shooting made the difference, or more aggressive play, but they just need to find a way to do this every game. FYI...I know Dan Dakich (sp) likes Craft, but geesh this guy is irritating!

I think the mental errors made by Craft in the past games was due to the fact that he was trying to carry the whole team by himself. Now last nights game, we saw a different Aaron Craft against Iowa. Maybe there is some kind of co-hesivness beginning to form in this team. All in all they sure looked good last night. I was happy for Linzell hitting those 2 threes, back to back. I hope he can come strong down the stretch.

I agree with the irritating comment in this post. He bashes Amir like he was a pissed off coach. I really think he has been overly critical and needs the shut the [Mark May] up!

National Association of Basketball Coaches named Craft to the five-man NCAA Division One 2014 Allstate Good Works Team

From the article
And this morning, Craft earned yet another honor that will make him even less popular. The National Association of Basketball Coaches named Craft to the five-man NCAA Division One 2014 Allstate Good Works Team that honors college basketball players who have made a commitment to improving their communities and the lives of others.

Oh no! Craft not only gets straight A’s at Ohio State, finds clever ways to win games for the Buckeyes, is engaged to a hottie, and serves as a role model for kids – he improves his community. The audacity of this young man knows no limits!

There are dozens of ways to find success, but Craft seems to have been able to find a clear path to all of them. Evidently, a significant percentage of college students can’t handle watching a peer succeed on so many levels when he wears the jersey of an opposing player.

Few players in the history of the Big Ten has been so universally reviled in rival arenas while being deserving of the opposite.
