by the way, i'm not targeting lv. i don't listen to alex jones; however, i do enjoy reading about various conspiracy theories. i know more than my fair share about the bohemian grove, freemasonry, operation northwoods, eschatologies, and the like. it's just entertainment and a means for me to foster outside-the-box thinking.

in the end, i think this world is just a populated mess of billions of competing ideas and behaviors, generally rooted in self-interest. there is no "the powers that be." there is no "them." that's too easy. it's far scarier to believe that no one is ultimately in control than it is to believe that everything happens for a reason. we're all just a brain tumor away from sniping atop a clock tower. the earth is no country for old men.

It has long seemed to me that we're kind of in the situation of people on a bus who realize the driver is operating the vehicle erratically and irresponsibly. It is tempting to contemplate whether the guy is driving that way deliberately to serve some private agenda, or whether he is doing so because he is an incompetent, careless idiot. But then, I have to question how important that distinction is, when the truly pertinent fact is that, either way, the s.o.b. is about to drive the bus over a cliff.

Oh, and PS You forgot to include the Reptilian Agenda.

I didn't say anything about people shooting from lower levels. I worked at Mandalay Bay for 4.5 years. The two broken windows on the 32 floor are two separate, non-adjoining rooms.

Edit: Low level windows do open, but not very far.

Why does the "echo" sound before the shots on occasion?

From the leaked pics of the room, there were no drum mags, but at least 17 sixty round mags. So he did he dump three full 60 round mags dumps into the hallway? Not saying it's impossible, but the sound doesn't bear that out.

And they're really aren't any other tall structures on that end of the Strip. Mandalay Bay is the southernmost property. Across the Boulevard is the airport. What was the sound bouncing from? The next closest big structure on the east side of the Strip is the Tropicana, which is significantly farther than both the concert venue and the fuel tanks.

Or in 2001 when crazy people said the US government flew giant passenger planes into buildings in Manhattan....and when that failed to knock them down they set off explosions inside the building to implode them both.
