Actually, he WAS posting here, in the Penn State thread, but under a different username.
Thanks. What was his name?

In any event, he must not have paid much attention while he was here, if he really believes that we are "a bunch of fans who generally are convinced Jim Tressel did nothing at all wrong." Most of us believe that Tressel did do something wrong (cover up), even though many of those same people simultaneously believe that the infractions that were covered up (selling/trading memorabilia) should not have been against the rules of the NCAA.

But how is Tressel relevant to JoePed? Tressel covered up five kids selling a couple thousand dollars worth of their own memorabilia. JoePed covered up forty years of child abuse by his primary assistant coach and personal friend. There is no moral equivalency here. The two "crimes" aren't even in the same moral universe. Tressel broke some NCAA by-laws that are meaningless in the world at large. JoePed violated one of the most basic principles of human society - do not allow children to be abused by sexual predators.

It's truly sick that some Ped State fans try to defend Paterno by saying, "You're coach is a bad guy, too." Tressel and JoePed are about a billion miles apart on the "badness" scale.

That's unfair.

At least 2% of my life's joy has come from seeing Penn St and Michigan suck ass at football for the past 15 years. Another 2% I'd credit to the whiskey and bourbon, and probably 4 or 5% to masturbation and Internet porn.

you'd be a lot happier if you got that percentage up closer to like 60% or so.

409fold. I don't remember why he left. Very teary-eyed departure, though.
I liked him. He was a fan of the football, but not a fan of the cult's desire to reinstate Joesus as the head coach, living or dead.
I think some people felt that his more nuanced viewpoints were not really far enough from the "full retard" bwi line of reasoning. I kinda can't fault them for that, because he may have had Stockholm syndrome from being a regular there. I think he got banned from bwi, I never see him anymore, unless he changed his handle.
