I like the "double agent" conspiracy theory:

LJ is on a guerilla mission to sabotage OSU defenses...Reply

You guys just can't see it, and it's plain as day. He's a double-agent and the Pontiff played right into our trap. OSU will be a shell of its former self. LJ will flesh out the starting OSU defense with strategies that are proven losers, disguised as innovation. (This may take a few months to manifest itself when the season starts but trust me, LJ is still on board. Just a matter of time....) He's infiltrating the Kremlin. He is getting word back to Franklin through numbers stations on the shortwave. Here, check it out....

I know it has to do with religious cults, but man, this so fits right now:

http://www.letusreason.org/cults.htm
Are you told not to question what is being taught because the leaders are honest and want the best for you so you must trust them. Has someone replaced your own choices in life?
Are you told not to ask questions why anyone left, your to accept the answers the leaders give you such as: they fell into sin, they didn’t receive correction, they weren’t open or they had a bad heart and didn’t want to be disciples?

Are you being rebuked for things such as the way you say hello or how you respond to being asked to do something for a leader or disciple. Do they tell you its a matter of the heart how one complies?

Do they recommend for you to be around their people expecting you to be at all the group activities? If not you're spirituality and dedication are questioned?
Do they defend all that they do even though it can be harmful or wrong?

Even when you replace "church" with "school" and "Jesus Christ" with "Joe Paterno", it fits.

Are you told that you must be with their certain church school or group to be saved and not by Jesus Christ Joe Paterno?
Are you made to feel your failures, that your performance is not up to par for the bibles Penn State standard?
Do they call those who leave fall away’s and enemies, dogs returning to their own vomit, using the examples of Korah BOT or Judas Silas Redd?

Gentlemens, I give you Ryan Bagwell, candidate for the Penn State Board of Trustees. I'm willing to go out on a limb right now and predict that this Paterno worshipping mongoloid gets elected. Because, that's who THEY ARE....

http://www.bagwellforpennstate.com/about-ryan/

He’s a proud lifetime member of the Penn State Alumni Association and a football season ticket holder.

Well, if he's a season ticket holder? How can you not elect him to help run the university?

"Ryan Bagwell"....."Tug Speedwell".......???????????

Maybe that's why they haven't got a replacement President? None have indicated whether or not they are season ticket holders on their CVs? I don't know.. just guessing here.

I'm sure that some prospective Presidential candidate relishes the thought of having to work with an unaccomplished tool on the board of trustees who was elected solely based on the fact that he's been throwing nuisance lawsuits around trying to vindicate one of the most despised men in America. Sounds like Les Wexner, Milton Wolf and John Ong all rolled into one.

What's amazing is that none of them have even commented on the ACC-ESPN-PSU story. It's as if none of them will even leave the hive to read a story if it's not about Dear Leader.

And here I thought SEC and ACC schools were doing some shady stuff with degree programs... apparently you can earn a PSU degree while in the womb.

*Disclaimer: Yes I realize that "lifetime member" isn't literal in these instances; like my lifetime VFW membership.

More than two years ago, the world tried to destroy the Penn State family.

This is the first sentence of the article where he announced his candidacy. Apparently, hurting the football team and athletic department qualifies as "destroying the Penn State family". No culture problem at all.

Ryan Bagwell is the founder of the Penn State Sunshine Fund, a grassroots legal and lobbying effort to improve transparency at Penn State. Since 2012, he’s fought to obtain records that show how university officials acted in the wake of the Sandusky scandal.

That's the first paragraph of his bio?!?! His entire platform is "Free JoePa!"?!?! :slappy:

Since the Sandusky scandal emerged in 2011, Penn State has fought attempts by average citizens to obtain information about what went on behind the scenes. A key Commonwealth Court ruling in July 2013 allowed citizens to request records from some members of the Board of Trustees. Now, Penn State’s administration is attacking your right to information. And your help is needed to defend that right.

Using its vast financial and legal resources, the university is expected to mount several court challenges over the coming months. Fighting those challenges will be a costly endeavour. But with the help of students, faculty alumni and other supporters, we can take on the administration’s attempts to revoke your right to information.

Few citizens can take on the Penn State administration alone. But together, we can make a difference.

Click here to contribute to the Penn State Sunshine Fund today.

Funny - I don't remember him forming the Sunshine Fund back when Penn State refused to release JoePa's salary information. :shake:

I'm sure no one but Sandusky, the "victims", or whatever you want to call them, and McGinger knew children were being shower raped. I mean come on. If, let's say, three coaches knew, JoePa would have made sure anyone that knew would be protected and remain employed.
