I was thinking the same thing. That would reinforce the cultists egos, that an NFL coach chose to come there. Never mind that he failed as an NFL head coach and was fired, that won't be the spin.

If BOB goes... I would like to see PSU make a run at...
...every big time coach in the college game. Yes, I'm talking Saban, Urban, etc. If for no other reason than to get those programs to shill out ungodly sums of money to keep them in place. To me, this would weaken the opposition without costing PSU anything. In the end PSU could hire some less established coach for a relative bargain and laugh at the fools bankrupting themselves the way we all laugh at the Yankees when they miss the playoffs despite forking over millions in luxury taxes every year.

Riiiight. I'm sure Bammer and tOSU would be extremely worried about their coaches leaving top-tier jobs for that train wreck.

It doesn't happen. It causes resentment. Makes you look like you think you are bigger than the business/institution. It will be tolerated once if you are highly valued. The second time it's an exit strategy."

Yeah, PSU would never tolerate a situation like that . . .

OK, just so I'm clear on this: All the devil anyone has to do on their forum is to show up and announce--sans any proof whatsoever--that they are an expert/insider/secret-confidant and voila! their proclamations are accepted by 95% of the readers?
