Penn State will open its 2014 football season against the University of Central Florida in Ireland, the first international game for either team.

Officials from both schools along with the Gaelic Athletic Association announced Sunday in Dublin that the game will be played at Croke Park on Aug. 30, 2014, and will air on ESPN-2.

How do you let Penn State schedule a "bowl-type" game when they are on probation?

If suspensions are supposed to be punishment, how do you let this stand?

If you are Penn State and asking for lessening the penalties, how do you turn around and schedule your own bowl game?

There are sound reasons backed by "fax and evidents" for Penn State to be held out of bowl games for four years - reasons the school itself signed off on, now, NCAA get a pair and put a stop to this nonsense.

This plan reminds me of the bullshit plans that Jr High kids come up with when they're already grounded and try to pass off going to a buddies house to "study".
