He demands an apology for being compared to ped staters.

Here comes the real hit!

Of course the mutants are blaming the President and Board and not the horrible stigma that JoePed and company left the university with.

Much of Erickson's talk centered on Penn State's enrollment. The Sandusky scandal did not have an effect on the current freshman class; Erickson said the current freshman class has about 7,700 students. But applications for next year are down between 10 and 35 percent so far, although Erickson also noted that "paid accepts" are holding pace with last year, and he assured council members that the quality of students hasn't waned.

Re: Main Campus stats are much worse than you think
University Park applications are down 28% on the whole and a staggering 39% for the Honors college,

I would guess too that both the number and quality of out of state applicants has nosedived, which will play havoc with budget numbers since ped aggy is the most expensive public university in the country.

If they somehow win on Saturday, the pedsters will be the least of our worries. There will be a growing howl from Appalachian Ohio and the puffing out of green clad pigeon chests throughout the heart of it all.

The Buckeyes and FredOU played each others' first-week-opponents. FredOU lost to a team the Buckeyes destroyed.

Great weekend indeed.

It's everbody's fault, except the freaks that purposefully covered for the pedophile, the corupt old man who reigned over the shithole with absolute power, and the very maniacs pointing the finger who deified the old coot and fostered the environment...

Cults, man. :shake:

Ped Aggy's admission stats are going to go way down with next year's class. If, for financial reasons, they try to maintain the same percentage of out of state students, I'll bet they go down even further since I'm assuming that the drop in high quality applicants even more pronounced among out of state applicants.

A lot of kids who were going to be shuttled off to branch campuses will probably be very happy this Spring.

Courtesy of Knapplc, I'll just leave this here:

Paterno got his share of calls over the years

As least the cult takes their cues and regurgitates all of their paranoid delusions from their patron saint honestly.

It kind of makes you wonder why the venerable Paterno is getting all ''X-Files'' about his team's recent spate of questionable officiating calls. Earlier this week, he insisted that he was trying not to get ''paranoid'' about it, then offered up more half-baked theories about referees who happened to be Michiganders.

Putting out an APB for NFBuck's response to this quote from the linked article.

holy shit, these people actually think a high school kid gives a flying fuck what the BOT says?

Their drops are almost wholly due to either the economic factors (being the highest priced public school in the nation) and due to the stigma attached to that shithole.

I, for one, will never allow my kids to consider Ped State. Why? Because the university leadership allowed a pedophile to continually commit his acts on campus. I will not send my children to a place that allows other children to be harmed repeatedly. Simple as that.

Why are they so sure the ACC will even want them?

Let's not forget that Pitt, Syracuse and Boston College are all in the ACC. These are the schools that walked away from JoePed's proposed Eastern Conference and then turned around and blackballed his application to the Big East. They didn't want anything to do with Penn State. I'm sure that you can add Maryland to that list also.

Now, a lot of that was probably Paterno personally, but I wouldn't be surprised if the suspicion and hostility towards Penn State in general is still there to some degree.
