Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Wait, what?

Bet the house on PSU! This will not be close if McGloin is on his game. OSU's LBs are weak and will have to cover TEs. Not gonna happen. O-line will wear them down and the run game will keep them honest. OSU has never played this kind of PSU team with this varied offense (not even "94 team had this offense) and attacking defense. Could get ugly and BOB will not call off the dogs. Nice to give Meyer his first loss!
My emphasis.

If they somehow win on Saturday, the pedsters will be the least of our worries. There will be a growing howl from Appalachian Ohio and the puffing out of green clad pigeon chests throughout the heart of it all.

Okay...who is Freshstart? Outlandish remarks and a shot at JoePa...it's someone here right?

He's also the one that started the "Why did Urban Meyer Retire" thread I quoted earlier...

RE: Phil Steele with some pretty bold picks this week..

that was before B O'B showed up. He is the best coach for QB's in the country, college or pro.

Matt is the B1G player of the year and B O"B is the coach of the year. PSU will drill these pretenders.

Urban can not match up with a real live NFL coach.

Urban is inferior to B O'B.

RE: Phil Steele with some pretty bold picks this week..

actually no. This game was decided when OSU went with a has been and PSU went with a QB/offensive coaching guru. The game of football is changing....Urban isn't

That play would've hurt any player at any level, including all you message board tough guys.
Yeah yeah but the really important thing to know is that McGloin is a 100% tougher and better football player than this glorified half back.

McGloin is ballin and Miller is crawlin around sobbing from a routine tackle.

PSU blows out OSU due to the fact that PSU has the superior QB

Re: As much as I hate Ohio State...

New coach at PSU may also represent a change in scheduling philosophy. You have to remember that Joe built his legacy by beating up on Temple, Syracuse, Pitt, WVU, Maryland and Rutgers. Old habits are difficult to break.

Could have a negative impact on the school.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-...oody-s-to-cut-penn-state-s-credit-rating.html

Sandusky Scandal Leads Moody?s to Cut Penn State?s Credit Rating

Pennsylvania State University had its credit rating cut one level by Moody?s Investors Service because of the ?substantial financial impact? of the Jerry Sandusky child sex-abuse scandal.
The downgrade, to Aa2, the third-highest rating, affects $893 million of debt. On Oct. 15, Standard & Poor?s revised its credit outlook on Penn State to negative. S&P also gives the university its third-highest rating.

Moody?s said moves to overturn a culture dependent on a few senior managers with inadequate board oversight are under way, ?but it could take time for the strong internally focused culture of Penn State to fully implement and embrace the recommendations of best practices.?
It's clear that a small time operation like Moody's just doesn't have the means to appreciate FACTS like Festus Portmeyer & the Buttertop Mountain boys.

So they think that their 2012 offense--which couldn't crack 20 points against Ohio and Virginia, whose highest point total is 39 points, and is ranked 59th in total offense--is better than their 1994 offense which put up 63 against us and averaged 47 points a game. Riiiiight...

I like how some of the BWIdiots are bringing up their win in Columbus last year as one of the reasons they win this year.

You know, because Ohio State has the exact same team, from players to coaches to schemes, as last year. :shake:

Putting the cart before the horse.....they need to become bowl eligible before this even matters.

Not mention the need to become bowl eligible for the next three years. They could be 4 and 0 in the Pedster Bowl by 2016.

In a more charitable moment, it's a good story for Bill Buttchin and the kids who stayed. It's a good story for the Big 10 to counterbalance all the negative that rightly poured out of Happy Valley since last November. I have to say I'm amazed.

Wow. Read that thread so you can get the full backstory to this post......but holy shit. These idiots are still crazy.
I get angry when adults abuse kids, and that's exactly what the "adult" members of the BOT did to the students and the kids on this football team, not to mention the faculty and thousands of alumni. And I get really angry when people like you support the suppression of efforts to get to the truth. You're supporting a claim that university officials conspired to do something that even the general prison population would disdain, and you're doing it without any factual evidence. So I find you and the few others here like you to be utterly despicable. Maybe we should pin the support of child abuse on you without Due Process.
