Huskers beat me to it...
Awesome! It seems appropriate that it's up twice...there's more than enough reason for double facepalms in this thread.

Like I said, the greatest bit of trolling that i did was in actually helping these clowns pull the rally off. All they did was shine a bright spotlight on the cult's one true goal: redeeming Dear Leader.

Four out of five speakers talked about Joe.
409 and Remember November 9th signs all over the place.
Paterno and 409 t-shirts.
Crazy Ass Lubrano dressing up like joe "in tribute."
Cardboard [censored]ing Joe!

That's what makes it so funny. You didn't humiliate them, you prodded them into humiliating themselves, complete with cardboard JoePa. You gave them the proverbial rope with which they eagerly hung themselves.

It was meant to be Tug Speedman--Ben Stiller's characther in Tropic Thunder who goes full retard. I [censored]ed up and got the name wrong when I registered.

But this one is so much better and it really makes you look like a bigger evil mastermind than you already are.

I found this on the Google:

City of Columbus Disaster
By James Donahue
The wreck of the City of Columbus on the New England coast on January 17, 1884 claimed 104 lives and brought down the Boston and Savannah Steamship Company. It was a senseless disaster that never sould have happened but for a decision by the captain to turn command over to an incompetent subordinate.

The City of Columbus was a five-year-old iron hulled 275-foot steamship, one of four vessels built for the passenger runs between Boston, New York and Savannah. It was on the first leg of a regular trip from Boston, Captain Schuyler E. Wright at the helm, when the steamer hit Devils Bridge, a rocky shoal extending into Vineyard Sound off Cape Cod.

The collision tore the bottom out of the steamer. Captain Wright was unaware of the seriousness of the damage to his command when he ordered the engines reversed. As soon as the ship moved off into deep water it quickly sank so that only its bow, two masts and funnel were visible above the water line.

The steamer sank so quickly that there was no time to send a distress message. The boilers were flooded so not even the whistle could be blown. The ship listed sharply to port, but then settled in an upright position on the bottom. The accident happened just after 3 a.m. so most of the passengers were caught asleep in their cabins. Those that did try to escape quickly died of exposure in the bitter cold January waters.

Some people scrambled up into the rigging on the masts where they clung until they froze to death. Two lifeboats were launched, but both were swamped. One boat escaped with five people in it and the second drifted off empty. One man swam to the empty lifeboat and was still alive in it to be rescued the following morning by the tug Speedwell.

He has to be talking about embarrassing the Big Ten by being worse than Indiana in addition to being the institution that will never not have enabled a pedophile for several decades, right?

I know its fun to hate on them, but he's talking about academically, which I would have to applaud them on.

The overwhelming number of graduating football players who weren't shuttled off to a branch campus in the middle of the night already cured cancer, where else is there for them to go academically speaking?

I mean, seriously, Northwestern doesn't brag as much as Penn State fans do about academics. Oh, that's right, Northwestern fans aren't a bunch of insecure cult weirdos and they don't need to overcompensate by being boastful about everything they are marginally decent at.

So here is what the enabler site has to say.

In coming to terms with the fact that the creator of the original "Penn State Rally 4 Resignations" page intended to sabotage the effort to make our voices heard (via Facebook), I realize that it doesn't matter whether the trolls came from Ohio State, or Chicago, or any other place in the world. To have done what he (they) did was as much of an attack on integrity, on dignity, as any proposed "cov
er-up". Why? They called lots of names, posted humiliating pictures, actually MAKING LIGHT of the whole story! Posting pictures of the "pedo bear" standing next to the Joe Paterno statue is every bit as much of a slap in the face to the Sandusky victims as it was intended to be to Joe Paterno.

People like those who created those pictures and posted them are not any more deserving of being treated like human beings than Jerry Sandusky himself, because their actions betray dignity, betray justice, betray humanity. It's simply despicable.
I particularly love how you attempt to use Sandusky's victims as shields to protect Paterno. The sickening logic of that is why the entire country is disgusted at your fanbase. Attacking and mocking Paterno is NOT making fun of the victims. It is satirizing a sick, image-obsessed old man who turned a blind eye to their plight.

You know what was a real "slap in the face" to those victims? Knowing that Sandusky was preying on them for years and using your football program as the bait yet covering it all up rather than have your precious reputation for perfection sullied in the slightest.

Seriously, the fact that you dare equate in any way the mocking of a disgraced public figure with the rape of children and attempt to use those children as some means of insulating the man who covered up their abuse from criticism is about the sickest thing I have ever seen. It is exactly why the entire country has become nauseated at the sick culture of Paterno Worship that infected Penn State to its very core and why your own university leadership and the NCAA was forced to step in and do something drastic in hopes of changing the perverse culture that Paterno created.
