Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Yep, a coach threatening to take unilateral action for his school based on a single game really makes the case for institutional control.

I was at the PSU - Nebraska game in 1982. I'll admit that I was very drunk.

I'll also admit that the in bounds call for the Penn State receiver on the 2 yard line at the end of the game was one of the single worst officiating calls I have ever seen in my life.

Evidence. FACTS!!!11111

A relative told me there was another questionable call in a PSU-Nebraska game, maybe the same game, when a Nebraska catch was ruled out of bounds. Back in the day, someone drew an accurate picture of the PSU field showing that the real boundaries had a bulge where the play in the video occurred and an indentation on the other side. Pre-internet so I can't post it as EVIDENTS.

Wasn't JoePed a fucking classics major at Brown, and he's trying to pretend he doesn't know what Sodomy is?

To his last breath, this rotten old man lied through his teeth, and now the family is doing his lying for him.

Sorry I'm a few days late with this but...

...asking his son what sodomy meant.

Yeah, "sodomy" is some new fangled word the kids use. There's no way a man with 80+ years experience on this planet would have ever come across this word. Whatthefuckever...

Fucking lying piece of pedophile shit. Rot in hell you fucking cunt JoePa. Fuck you...

Immaterial whether he knew the definition of the word "sodomy."

I don't know all of the elements of the legal definition of "rape" and "sexual assault" as defined by the Pennsylvania legal code. However, I do know that a grown man buttfucking little kids in the shower is wrong, and if I see or hear about a situation like this, I should call the police.

If Paterno had called the police, but hadn't described it as "sodomy," the story would have been quite different. Instead, he didn't call--and I can't believe that whether he did or did not know the definition of "sodomy" influenced his decision to cover up the pedophilia.

Plays like this make Hartsock's 4th quarter 3rd down catch at Slappy Valley more enjoyable.

psu has another late addition to the '12 class: olb gary wooten out of hialeah. he was actually a '11 player. for whatever reason, he did not play last year. offers from emu, fiu, umass, vandy, fau, eku, wazzu, etc.

Non qualifier...Miami was in on him but I don't think he made the cut for their admissions. This is info from Audibles, no idea how accurate it is.

Interrupting the hatefest, the Dispatch had a nice story this morning about PSU head coach Bill O'Brien. Given what he and his wife have lived through with their young son (who suffers from severe developmental disabilities) and how well he has handled viciously adverse media scrutiny, O'Brien comes off as a very likeable guy who seems like an excellent leader. Props to his wife, too, for leaving a promising law career to care for their son Jack.

O'Brien: A beacon in the gloom

His team is going to need all the emotional stability and leadership that O'Brien can muster over the next few years. Hope the inbred fanbase can learn some positive lessons from him as well.

That's all good and well, but they're gonna turn on him next.

All this mutantdom is fun and games... but, then there's losing. If they can't learn that raping children is wrong, how are they gonna deal with winning 6 games in the next 4 years combined.

Ironically, I was thinking, it's probably cruel and unusual punishment to have Moxie as their QB, he might be able to sneak off a few wins on guts and... moxie and hiding to some degree the reality of how bad it is in Happy Valley... unlike most place where things have gone to hell in a handbasket, you usually get to look forward to disruption and then an upward trajectory... if they go 2-10 this year... its only gonna get WORSE.... And its gonna get worse no matter what the record is.

SO what I'm trying to say is... dis gon be good.

Unless the NCAA wants to stand up...Reply
and make every school wear a blue ribbon, I say F the blue ribbon.
For our players to wear them is like a scarlet letter because no one will actually think of those ribbons as supporting child abuse - they'll think of it as a reminder about the scandal.

I didn't know the ribbons signified the support of child abuse. No wonder some of them are objecting.
