Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

You kind of wish that someone like Penn State Board of Trustee member Anthony Lubrano would just stop talking and just move on.

The university is not fighting the penalties, so what's the point?

I don't know what's the benefit for someone like Lubrano or Michael Robinson.

No no no, let Lubrano talk all he wants. The more quotes he launches calling the other University Presidents pansies, the better.

I still think further investigation is necessary... I'm one of the crowd that believes this goes much deeper.

Further investigations are going on right now. Freeh uncovered more unsavory items that are not in this report, I am sure. Remember, he was directed to only look at the one situation and how it was dealt with/covered up by the administration and athletic department. There is a reason Erickson said "yes, levy them" to sanctions he never saw. They know the deeper this goes, the worse it is going to get for the school.

Anyway, on to the "Lubrano is Great to Lubrano Sucks Ass!" 180 by the pedsters. Notice how he stopped posting awhile ago? I believe that he saw what else there is in those 3,500,000 documents and decided that he needed to change his stance on the whole situation.

Some of us were shocked/stunned at what Tressel did, but we all got over it eventually and realized the truth. What still could come out about Joe's involvement in this and other things may send some pedsters over the edge into their own reality because they won't be able to deal with it. They might literally end up in the fetal position, rocking back and forth saying "JoePa didn't know. JoePa didn't know" over and over again.

The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our ten year old guests. We did. But you can't hold a whole football program responsible for the behavior of a few, sick perverted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole intercollegiate athletic system? And if the whole intercollegiate athletic system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, Mark Emmert: isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do what you you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!

Best thing about that? People ignoring the 9/11 part and calling his wife a dumbshit.

I beg to differ. Lubrano has been marginalized not due to his own conscience, of which he has none, but because the Board is no longer informing him of anything. I am pretty sure his complete lack of professionalism turned the other board members off pretty quickly, especially when he started making claims like "The ones who fired Paterno may not be here by next year."
