It could really be argued that Penn State was never elite once it joined the Big Ten.

That type of unethical behavior would finish them completely.

IgnoreMy dad DIED; my best friend DIED; my mom DIED; now, Penn State is DEAD.....ReplyA "football culture"?!? Unbelievable!
Now, more than ever, I wish Joe Paterno would've brought in countless JUCO's and borderline academic athletes just ot WIN and WIN big. This University has shown me EXACTLY where they stand on issues.
Saying we alums were FOOTBALL WORSHIPPERS is a insult to the nth degree. Doesn't anyone in State College visit the South? Ever attended a Meeechigan game at the (ahem) "Big House"?
Everything Penn State has ever chosen to stand for has been removed. A fine academic instution, yes. Overpriced? Absolutley! Reputation? Who wants to tell people they attend or graduate Penn State?
Penn State will survive like any business entity. But a University, above all, should stand for DUE PROCESS.
I will forever remember the day Penn State DIED: July 23, 2012. I'm glad my father didnt see this. Im glad Joe Paterno didnt have to witness this either.
