Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

DALLAS ? Penn State acting athletic director David Joyner said tonight that the university is not close to hiring a successor to Joe Paterno and likely would not meet a self-imposed deadline to name its next head coach by Jan. 3.

[Pedtard] Don't you know that Meyer and Ohio State lied about the hiring right up until the last moment, and that Ped State's search committee is just doing the same thing. This is all a giant smokescreen until after the NC game and Saban informs Alabama that he's leaving the next day.[/Pedtard]

I generally like the Audibles board in the morning. It's a nice, refreshing laugh before the day begins.

The BWI board--where taking batsh*t crazy to 11 is a badge of fucking honor--is something else entirely. It's more of an evening board: take out the contacts, kick off the shoes and pour myself something strong to really get the most out of it.

You just know some foreign kid at PSU who thinks football is satanic is writing a paper on this right now.

To be fair if the crossbow shooting, machete wielding, student beating football players hadn't already made him a less than enthusiastic supporter of American football I don't think a little 3rd party sodomy is going to set him over the edge.

Wow, good call. There's an entire thread of their rationalizing how they could do better than Bob Stoops...including one guy who says he would "accept Saban"...without a hint of irony. These people make the scUM boards circa 2008 look like a knitting circle.

Cant see this guy trying to recruit 16-18 year old kids.

Well, at least the bus ride from Happy Valley would be shorter for the players' trip to his summer camp.....

I followed the Lions since 1968 and their tradition - cemented by Joe is what motivates me to contribute, support and follow the team. With out this tradition they are just another team. I firmly believe there will be many empty seats at Beaver stadium in the coming years. Sure, they may have a run with a great new coach and fill the stadium but when the wins cycle to just a 8- 9 win season, Beaver Stadium will resemble a Pitt home game- again with out this tradition they are just another team.

This is my favorite. Since 2000 PSU has AVERAGED less than 8 wins per season. They have to get BETTER to go 8-9 per season, not worse.

So, the fans are not Ped State fans, but JoePa fans? Take away the tradition of your Antediluvian coach ignoring pedophiles running amok - and you and your dollars are gone? Wow.

Amazing, isn't it? I think we can officially crown Ped Aggy fans the most disgusting in the country. These people, by and large, are subhuman.

Hello, Tom Bradley! It's who they wanted all along.

When the "coaching search" began, I would have been shocked if you told me that Bradley would be the guy. Now, I'll be shocked if it's not him. They keep throwing Tom Clements' name out there, but with the amount of changes that will take place in the NFL, coupled with a deep Packers run in the playoffs, I could see his name popping up for at least a NFL OC position. Here's another thought, Clements is a Notre Dame grad. Another so-so year for the Irish, along with a Kelly meltdown (or two), and I could see that job opening up. Clements has a lot to weigh, if he truly is the #2 choice right now. He's got to decide if he wants to step into the mess that is PSU, or wait and see what else opens up. At the very least, he could continue coaching one of the best, if not best, QB's for one of the most stable professional organizations. Coaching QB's for the Packers is not a bad gig. Beats having to explain why the shower area at your new school has police tape around it.

When one believes that informing a bureaucrat with no power to arrest or investigate and not licensed as a registered law enforcement officer at either the federal, state or municipal level is believed to be telling the police, one can believe anything about something so trivial as a coaching search.

A teenager says he was raped by Jerry Sandusky inside his office in Penn State University?s football building in 2004 ? two years after the ex-football coach was said to have had his campus keys taken away and was banned from bringing children into the building, the boy?s lawyer told FoxNews.com.
The now-19-year-old says Sandusky sodomized him when he was 12 years old and attending a summer camp program on the Penn State campus run by Second Mile, Sandusky?s charity organization.

The brain trust on BWI has cracked the case though. They got 'em workin' in shifts over there.

If this rape is supposed to have taken place at Sandusky's office reportedly in the Lasch Building on Penn State's campus, it truly lacks credibility.

That is because Sandusky's office under his emeritus status at Penn State was not located in the Lasch Building, but instead in the East Building on campus.

So, because the lawyer said the office was in the wrong building (Sandusky's office was actually next door) it never happened. If da building aint it; you must acquit.

Amendola's co-counsel Karl Rominger said of the new accuser: "The reality is it didn't happen. If you listen carefully,
[the allegation] doesn't make sense. In the history of sex crimes, you see grooming behavior; you don't pick a kid out of crowd and assault him one time all of a sudden. On its face it doesn't even sound plausible."

Ri-iii-ight...'cause in the history of sex crimes, NOBODY has ever been raped on impulse, or by a total stranger, or by a mere acquaintance; no child has ever been molested because some stray pedophile was passing by and saw an opportunity and, literally, seized it...what did I do with that photo of a bomb? Imagine it here:

Is there any way we could work out something diplomatically so one of the myriad of nuke-bearing counties who dislike us, and want political props from their own constituents, could "handle" this reeking mass of real estate called PA, and agree to not have it count as an act of war? Maybe we could trade someone some wheat & oats, or jeeps & planes, for the favor.
