Received email from chancellor Perlman. He says B1G presidents/chancellors are NOT debating whether to allow Penn State to remain in league.

If it's been so quickly taken off the table, that's a god damned shame.

While they may not be debating it now, who knows what pressure might come to bear based upon future actions by the ncaa, AAU or accrediting agencies. I never thought the B10 would take the lead on this, but I do think they'll be willing to act in the wake of other players.

Also, I doubt the cornaggy President is a key player in this or any other Big Ten decision. Over a third of the conference voted to boot his institution from the AAU, which tells me everything about how much weight he carries in Big Ten deliberations.

If anything good comes from this scandal it will be that fans examine their own program's choices and how it would deal with a pedophile in their midst or other heinous crimes.
