If this all went down a year ago, I’d say Syracuse in the B1G. Football would have gotten a boost due to recruiting players to play big ten football and the basketball is at an elite level. The school has good sports history and is academically sound as well.

When you think of the children abused, it was the Administration responsible for not reporting JS to the authorities.

Do you guys think the media has it wrong? Its not the Joe Paterno statue but Old Main that should come down.

In this heat, with everything so dry, I'd put that off till after the autumn rains. I've got an old couch I could lend them.

Word of warning though, after the abortion that replaced old U-Hall on the OSU campus, I'd be slow to destroy a landmark. Maybe taking down the Erector Set stadium would be a better starting point.

I believe this is the pimping rumor that made its way around a few months ago. Something along the lines of cash funneled to PSU in a scheme that had the Philly mob filming Second Mile kids getting sexually assaulted and selling said films to pedophiles around the world. Gricar would fit in as finding out about it and taken out by the mob. I'm not certain how Corbett fits in, although I believe he was part of the original investigation when he was the AG. Frankly, this rumor sounds pretty ridiculous with me, so I'm taking it with a bus-sized grain of salt.

There are also rumors about the way Spanier was managing money from the feds. Apparently there is a good chance that the feds are going to drop the hammer on the university because of it.

Penn State needs to tell all the haters "where to go" and shut up. The real victim was Coach Paterno. The BOTs caved in to pressure from the media and killed him. The BOTs should have ignored the media and ran them off campus and out of town

bowl ban makes no sense if they are planning to donate another $2.6 million of the bowl money.... The NCAA would be taking money from victims to prove a point.
