A poster on PSU's scout board said he would like to see the PA state government get involved.

He would like for Tom Corbett to sue the NCAA for "overstepping their boundaries," if PSU is hit with sanctions. Then he "would send in the PA state police. It would get ugly real fast."

It is beyond my descriptive abilities to describe how amazing/disgusting/baffling it is that people can say something like this and not see that the same standard applies to Paterno.

Their students are paying dearly...NO ONE GETS THAT. They might have to spend time at PSU without a football team. Their friends at other schools are probably giving them a ton of shit on Facebook. WHAT IS THE BOT DOING ABOUT THIS?!?!?

I am optimistically looking at this in a completely different way. Among others, LSU, TCU, Miami (Fl), Va Tech, UConn, and UVA currently have open dates on October 27th, 2012.

Maybe we could convince one of these teams to cancel one of their non-conference games to get the OSU payday, after PSU deservedly gets the death penalty. While some of these opponents could be extremely difficult...at least none of them have been publicly shown to have actively hidden the evidence of child rape.

(My vote is TCU in what I would call the "E. Gordon Gee Bowl")
