Allowing 300+yds rushing to ILLINOIS! What on God's green earth are they going to be able to do to Treyveon Henderson?!?
I don't know what looks worse for the Pedsters, Clifford's horrible QB play or their horrendous defense. They made a HOT garbage Illinois team look respectable. Idk which team was a more suspect high ranked B1G team: Iowa or Ped St
I remember watching the first half of that game and thinking both teams were shit. Whatever happened to Clifford there and Robeson not being ready for primetime makes me glad CJ has a solid backup in McCord.

Made arrangements for our tickets for next Saturday night. Not expecting Stroud to have to lead a 4th quarter comeback like JT. Looking for a curb stomping (63-14).
GO BUCKS!

When you won the last 4 B1G Championships and won 21 consecutive Big Ten Conference games; you just are going to get every teams best shot. They make their season by just beating you. It's all going to come down to how well the Ped State QB plays.

Injury Limitations Haunt Penn State, Sean Clifford In Disaster Loss

Despite the fact that he was able to play, Clifford was limited in what he could do against one of the worst defenses in Big Ten. Those limits were most clear in his ability, or lack thereof, to move in the pocket and run when needed.

“He was limited today. That’s why we tried to mix the run and the pass in there to take some of that off of him,” Franklin said. “Obviously it’s a big part of his game that he didn’t have today.”

Entering Saturday’s contest, Illinois was dead last in the Big Ten by allowing 427.9 yards per game. However, a lack of mobility for Clifford clearly halts Mike Yurcich’s offense in a powerful way, regardless of the opposing defense.

Penn State’s running backs have struggled in a big way for much of this season, and the quarterback’s ability to move with his feet clearly helped give some sort of balance to the Nittany Lions’ attack. Despite the fact that he said postgame he wasn’t limited by the injury, the quarterback certainly wasn’t moving at 100%.

I just hope it is 63-14 curb stomping.

I just hope it is 63-14 curb stomping.

I hope it's worse than that.
Right now, they have a 63-14 curb stomping of Ohio State in 1994. "They had all that NFL talent and the greatest team of all time beat them by 49. And that's with Joe taking his foot off the gas!" So, in their eyes, 1994 was more impressive than 2013, when they were crippled by sanctions.

And there's nothing we can do to change that. If Ohio State wins 100-0, it's still, "Clifford is hurt," and, "Our team doesn't have the depth," and, "Big Ten refs suck," and, "Ryan Day is a jerk!" and, "There's no way you can fill a water balloon with pee!"

I hope Stroud breaks records in offensive production, and then McCord breaks one off in Penn State's ass in the third quarter, and Miller shows Penn State where their mommies live in the fourth quarter. Maybe don't hit 100, yet - save that for another team. But maybe hit low 90's. The defense doesn't need to pitch a shut-out, but maybe if they out-score Penn State, that'd be cool.
