Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

I'm glad you guys are removed enough from this hell hole that you can take joy in them winning the B1G but not getting in to the playoffs. I can't stand that they'll forever be able to say they won the B1G at our expense. It's eating me up inside.

We are two wins from your having the perfect response . "Congratulations on your conference title . "

This is amazing to me, like an abused animal all it takes is the slightest positive signal. The SID...I mean, Urban, voted them 4th in the final poll and combined with Harbrau's post game ranting, all the sudden Urban is one of the good guys again.

Can hate on Urban all you want, but dude is above petty conference BS. When you win like he does, you don't have to act like Dantonio or Harbaugh.
Props to Meyer. Not so impressed with the other B1G coaches that had votes.
I could never bring myself to hate Urban just like I can't hate Saban. They both seem pretty no B.S. and do what they have to do.
I really don't mind Urban at all.
While I do not respect the tOSU fanbase in the slightest, I do respect Meyer as a football coach. He actually had the guts to attend Joe's funeral - I'm surprised that the tOSU moronic internet fanboys haven't labeled him an "enabler," whatever the hell that actually means.
I dunno. I can't bring myself to hate the guy. You can dislike the processing if you want, or the single-minded devotion to winning, or imagining that Maurice Clarett is the rule and not the exception at OSU (not that he was Meyer's player), but he's damned transparent. Compared to Harbaugh, I'll take him every time.
I've gain a lot respect for Myers the past 2 years. Like the fact he's now disciplining his players. At Florida his player did what they wanted with little repercussion.
I know that Urban has his share of haters on this board but I thought that unlike the scUM coach in his loss to OSU, he took his loss to PSU like a man. No ranting, no complaints about officiating, lack of PSU penalties etc.

I also think that the way that he handled the death of JVP was nothing but class.
People that hate on Urban are real quick to forget how he defended Paterno and was one of the few (if any others) prominent coaches that was seated front row for Joes funeral.

Lots of Pedster fans on social media talking shit about head-to-head and "true champions" and shit. Despite their close win in wet conditions via a special team snafu on our part, and thei first conference title in a fucking decade, here's some facts you can dish out to your favorite Pedster fan. Since they joined the B1G for football in 1993:

Ohio State is 10-2 in The Shoe, with the average score of the games being Ohio State 30, Penn State 10.
Ohio State is 6-6 in Slappy Valley, with the average score of the games being Penn State 25, Ohio State 24.

EDIT: Crap-ton of typos...

It's feels like you have not learned a thing about Jim Delany's cabal of crooked Big 10 refs that call penalties at the most inopportune times on the Pedsters and ignore holding on every play by any team playing the Pedsters.

Had Penn State's second loss been to a conference opponent instead of Pitt, would they still be screaming their "head to head" nonsense when Ohio State represented the East in the B1GCG?

"We lost two games, but 1 loss was to Pitt, so we're better!"

I remember a year that the Browns beat the defending champion Saints and the Patriots, and Tom Brady PLAYED in that game! I'm going to look at their trophy case now...

Surely, Penn Staters will tell you that the Browns were the better team that year.
