Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

fify, Pedsters

I think the point Elvis was making was that possessing moral turpitude* and acting honorably aren't requirements to be a Penn State BOT member coach.

Moral Turpitude: It's not required of a PedState coach. More of a voluntary thing.

Irony, thy name is PedState.

Simply mind-blowing that these snakes are being paraded around town like heroes with their names emblazoned on buildings.

Pedsters understand how the process works. They just don't understand it when it applies to them.

It needs to be made clear that Joel Myers is not welcome at any Penn State event except as a visitor or spectator. He cannot be allowed to escape the consequences (opprobrium and ostracism) of what he did.

The cult is up in arms about this one. But they have the stunning logic of saying it's not a university sanctioned event, just permitted by the university to be held there.

Makes sense. Sort of the same way Sandusky's rapes weren't officially sanctioned by the university, just permitted.

Really starting to believe I'm not going to live long enough to ever see real justice prevail against these lunatics. :shake:

I think if you dialed 911 in Happy Valley it just rang the phone in Joe Pas office.

It's an automated system. Press one if the assailant is a football player, and it's routed to paterno, press two for all other emergencies. By pressing one you acknowledge that no response will be given until after the weekend.

So my wife works with a guy from PA. Alum, whole family went there, his wife worked at the Second Mile back in the day. Her company just had their yearly sales meeting, so she was with the dude all week. She just said he's really pissed. I said, "Because they're honoring Joe Pa, right?" No, because the way the team is playing. He thinks they suck and are regressing under Franklin. Cults man. :roll1:

Eh. I could see a rationale PSU fan (assuming there is such a thing) wanting to just concentrate on the football aspect by now and move on. A certain amount of this crazy thing called college football, for all of us, is a pleasant, healthy diversion for a few hours a week from the realities of the grind of life.

If I was born a PSU fan I'd (hopefully) at this point be able to say in retrospect Joe Pa was a monster. What happened here can never happen again and I'd still gladly burn it all to the ground if it could somehow make those children whole again....but it can't and life does move on. No need to walk around self flagellating forever. Be more aware in your everyday life, maybe do some donating to an appropriate cause as your circumstances allow and by all means enjoy football again.

It's the sick fucks who never have come to grips that Joe did something wrong that outrage the rest of the world when all they care about still to this day is the religion of Joesus and the football program as a way of continuing worship.
