I've been thinking a lot about this, and I really believe it's time for the B1G, or better yet - the NCAA, to create some honor bearing Joesus name. They should create a National Award, covering all sports and award it to the Coach of the Year based upon the example and values that Joesus himself lived by.
Safe to say, the winner in the inaugural year can be Art Briles.

Cheer up, PSU fans! The BIG NEWS is that they are finally honoring Joe Paterno for all that he did for those young men. There will be more than 100 players coming back, with two of them at the coin toss. It's really going to be something.
There will be lots of remembering. OK, selective memories, and recounting of on and off the field exploits, ok, that may not have happened, but there will be remembering of the the time they beat Ohio State 77-0 and all kinds of good things that Joe knew.
Come on down for the loud cheers, singing, and dancing. It'll be just like Joe was there!
There's also going to be an accounting, a reckoning of sorts. Fax and Evidents! The real story.
And best of all Joe will be there with us...and probably Franco too! Speaking truth at the ironically named Beaver Stadium, but it's ours. And We Are...!

Nobody helped the child who was in the shower. Not during the rape, not following the rape, and not for years afterward.
They can debate the sanctity of weekends, the meaning of 'horseplay,' whether Paterno had ever heard of child rape before, the 'humane' treatment of pedophiles, Spanier's apparent inability to learn the most basic details of the situation, and who gets to play cops all they like, but you just picture that child crying himself to sleep, knowing nobody cares and nobody is going to help, and tell me there is any question as to whether they all ought to be rotting in hell.
Maybe someone needs a cardboard cutout of THAT.
