They seriously do! I was talking to a guy in the break room the other day who is a Ped St Alum, and he thinks enough time has passed to where the rest of the nation should "let it go"... I just blankly stared at him and then walked away. The delusion was just too much for me

yeah they probably have a point, those people who were literally raped by a grown man as children really need to stop holding on to the past. in fact, all of these "victims" (or whatever you want to call them) have now had years if not more to get over it. if anything they should repay psu the money they received and all volunteer to go to the stadium and help put the statue of dear leader back up by hand.

More than 200 lettermen petition PSU to return Joe Paterno statue

More than 200 Penn State football lettermen petitioned the university Tuesday for the return of an iconic bronze Joe Paterno statue, which was removed in the summer of 2012 in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case.

The former players and coaches, who span every decade since the 1950s, also made two other demands: return the wall that rested behind the statue and celebrated Penn State accomplishments, and issue a formal apology to Paterno's widow.

"Joe Paterno has been cast in a negative light," the letter writer, former tight end/punter Brian Masella, told ESPN, "and we're trying to correct that narrative. The university has ignored us over and over again."
