Take the long view of it (like the British did in World War 2) - if they annihilate each other then that's a good thing....

But look at Pedterno's age during Stalin's era, look at how the world changed during that pedophile-enabling bastard's life and you can see the similarities to a Stalin-esque regime.

The only other comparison I can come up with is Nixon, but at least Nixon had the class to resign when the writing was on the wall. Pedterno had to be fired.

I am envisioning the course for the "Paterno Family Run" being lined by Cult-approved direction signs. For example, the course would start off with a sign simply stating "The TRUTH!!!!" and an arrow pointing in the appropriate direction. A few hundred yards further into the run, a sign would state "Louis Freeh defends his lies straight ahead." A few hundred more yards ahead, runners could be motivated be a sign extolling them to "Turn left and call Sara Ganim a ****."

The comparison seems pretty on the money to me. Joe Stalin's hometown in Soviet Georgia toppled a statue to its most famous native in 2010. I can easily envision Georgia's version of Pnnylion or Southeastern Georgia Buckhunter on some top-secret message board demanding "Bring back Joe's statue."

I didn't say the comparison was wrong, just that it puts me in a position to root for Nazis. Who's the Nazis in this analogy? I'm not really comfortable calling M*ch*g*n - "Nazis".

They seem more like a Mongol Horde or Attila the Hun. Ain't shit worth a shit in their own land, so they have to invade other lands...

Why does there have to be nazis? Just because there were nazis in Stalin's Soviet Union doesn't meant there needs to be nazis in Paterno's Happy Valley.
