So, just theorizing here.....

What happens when the three stooges (Curley, Schultz & Spanier) - who have yet to stand trial for their roles in this - eventually do take the stand? I would like to think they'll pin all of the blame directly on the back of dearly departed Joesus in an effort to save their own hides.....which is to say, I would like to think they'll tell the truth.

A bit disappointed the NCAA restored the wins. They already went back and reduced the bowl ban and altered the $60 mil fine stipulations, not to mention removing the scholarship limit. The NCAA can be spineless at times, but I was hoping they could at least stick to part of this punishment. At some point Penn State will go on like nothing ever happened, and yet the kids affected by Sandusky will remember the abuse for the rest of their lives. This will certainly open the way for the Pedsters to demand their statue back.

It's Pennsylvania and the state is doing everything it can to stall. These assholes will never see a courtroom. The entire thing is being swept away with history.

This just happened...swear to Allah. Had an old white guy (older than me) walk into our section wearing a PSU logo polo shirt. As I walked by him I said, "Well, you got your wins back." He looked confused and said "What?" When I repeated my statement, he paused, looked down at his shirt and said, "Oh. No, I just bought this shirt because it was cheap." :slappy:

JayPed went on Finebaum today and, in addition to his usual cult talking points, said that, "now we can begin to address the victims," and it was unequivocally clear that he was talking about his father and his fathers toadies in the administration.

Well, that was fun. On PTI, they started talking about the wins being restored and I walked up to the TV (mounted on the wall, usually used for news programs) to hear it better. As I did, this USAF SSgt, who is a PSU fan and is normally (believe it or not) pretty reasonable about shit, came up and asked, "What do you think?" When I told him I disagreed and he asked why, I told him, "Because he let that shit go on and did nothing." He immediately flipped his demeanor and said Paterno knew nothing. When I said, "Bullshit.", he said, and I shit you not, "They had to explain to Paterno what sodomy is." When I asked him if he really believed that someone who religiously read the classics didn't know what sodomy was, he replied, "I read the grand jury testimony." JFC, it was like I teleported into BWI. We almost got into it right there on the operations floor. By the way, I'm wearing my scarlet OSU polo shirt...fuck 'em.
