My bad, you are correct...

As for Babbitt, if he joins this class, we can get rid of the all the naysayers that say Matta can't recruit the 4 position...:tongue2:

Game notes: Babbitt, a junior, said he already knows who he's going to give a non-binding verbal commitment to, but is keeping the decision secret. "I haven't spilled the beans, yet," he said.
Babbitt said he hopes to make the announcement next week. Babbitt has narrowed his final five choices to Nevada, Ohio State, UCLA, Gonzaga and Arizona.

40, I certainly hope that you are not referring to me. I guess when Babbitt was first mentioned as a possible recruit I did not think that he would come all the way from Nevada. Also, I think by Matta bringing in Madsen for next year proved that he could get a 4 along with KK.

wadc45;763647; said:I was thinking about this some more (and I know you were only kidding, ScrpitOhio) but when you think about it, we won't have a single senior leaving after the '08-'09 season to open a schollie for someone in the '09 class. That is probably why you haven't seen any commitments yet. Now, we are all presuming that guys like Oden, Cook and (the more I think about it ) Conley won't be more than two years, so when any/all of them leave early, that will open up a schollie or two for the '09 class.
crazybuckfan40;763703; said:Exactally for the 09 class we are looking at 0 ships even if Cook and Oden leave...
It will depend on guys like Conley, KK or anyone else that could possibly leave early...
LitlBuck;763748; said:I really can't see Conley going to the NBA in two years unless he dramatically improves his outside shooting threat. I am not knocking the kid I just think he would be so much better if he had a better 3-point shot. I know that Junkie has sent earlier when I brought up the fact that we might not have any ships for 09 he thought that KK might be a one and done.
