I have a niece who went to sCum and she said that they almost take their hockey more seriously than their football (that was a few years ago). It seems like they always have a lot of very good hockey players and their program does not seem to fluctuate up and down like....

Yeah its pretty crazy going to game there. All of their games are sold out and they even have standing room.

I went to a Maize out last year and the buckeyes lost by 1 goal. I looked like a red dot in the middle of piss yellow with my Scarlet Hockey Jersey on. I think I was the only buckeye fan there other than the players parents.

Would be there this weekend but can't make it and will have to listen to it on the radio.

ann arbor is home to the usntdp-the us national team developmental program. those kids go to ann arbor pioneer, whcih is the hs right across the street from the stadium. if yovue been to a game at the big house youve likely parked there (or at the golf course). we have had a pretty decent sprinkle of kids from the usntdp.

Yea, I wish we could get 1/2 the atmosphere and crowd support they have. Yost is easily one of the most impressive sporting venues that I've been to though not terribly welcoming for visiting Buckeyes.

Ohio State fan sucker punched and left unconscious in the street after Saturday's game for daring to do an OH-IO cheer.:(

Police beat - Community

Felonious assault doesn't leave your record Fredo, so I hope that cheap shot was worth ruining your life. A college senior graduating into a lousy job market now marked as a violent felon. Hope your daddy owns a business otherwise this clown shouldn't get a job in fast food.

Needless to say the imbeciles over at MHT find nothing wrong with this. Meanwhile they'll trudge along with their multiple smug threads about how classy they are. Hypocrisy thy name is Fredo.

MiamiHawkTalk.com :: View topic - When Miami Students get Tired of OH-IO cheers...

Suddenly, the fact that Kent State went down to Oxford and handed Miami their arrogant asses last Saturday just became hilarious. I had no idea Miami "fans" actually thought they were relevant.

Meanwhile, I hope karma is real for one certain Fredo.

Corey Elkins Blogs from Ann Arbor

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Senior forward Corey Elkins, a native of West Bloomfield, Mich., writes about the Buckeyes trip to Michigan for a two-game CCHA series in his blog this weekend. His first entry comes after the Buckeyes? Friday night game vs. the Wolverines, a close 4-3 loss, in Yost Ice Arena.

Oct. 31, 2008
After a good Thursday practice, we loaded up the bus for our trip to Ann Arbor. We have been looking forward to this series for a long time and it is easy to see that we are all excited.

Another reason for the excitement is the anticipation for the ritualistic meal we eat before our Michigan weekend. Since I have been a Buckeye, every trip to Ann Arbor begins with a Thursday night meal at Mancy?s, a steakhouse in Toledo.

Buckeyes Downed by No. 8 Michigan, 6-1

COLUMBUS, Ohio ? The Ohio State men?s hockey team suffered a 6-1 loss at No. 8 Michigan Saturday at Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Wolverines earn a sweep of the two-game Central Collegiate Hockey Association series, after a 4-3 UM win Friday night.

Michigan jumped ahead with two goals in the first period, including an early tally just four and a half minutes into the game. The Wolverines? leading goal scorer, sophomore Louie Caporusso, skated out from the corner and took a sharp-angle shot that beat Ohio State freshman goalkeeper Cal Heeter on the far side with Michigan on the power play. Senior Tim Miller put the Wolverines up by two with his even-strength marker at 17:32 of the first. Caporusso sent his linemate the puck from the top of the right circle, where Miller sent a low drive to the back of the Buckeye net. On the defensive for much of the first stanza, Ohio State only recorded four shots while Michigan had 12. The Buckeyes had no power play chances in the period, with Michigan 1-for-2.
