Rocky Mountain Blogging with Corey Toy - Redemption
Corey Toy, men?s hockey sophomore defenseman, continues his blog from the team?s trip to Denver. Part three comes after the Buckeyes? come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the second-ranked Pioneers Saturday night.
Redemption
After last night?s loss the attitude throughout the team changed dramatically. Knowing that the mistakes we made came back to haunt us, every member of our family was determined for redemption.
We started this morning off as we have every other, with a 9 a.m. wake up call and breakfast downstairs in the hotel. While we acted as we always do, one could sense the underlying tension within the room. Pre-game skate at 10:45 a.m. was short and sweet. We kept it simple; focusing on the aspects of our game that had lacked the night before. We returned to the hotel for lunch at 12:30 p.m. as usual, and then headed to our rooms for a few hours of rest and preparation.
