I could see losing the Miami game without Posey, Herron, and Adams. Losing Nebraska since it is their first game back.
I am on record stating there is no way we lose to Wisky at home. They lost a lot and I am not convinced they have reloaded. But lets count that as an L for this purpose.
Lets say we lose 1 of the last 4 which I don't see happenening (indy, purdue, penn state, mich).
That is 8-4. And I wouldn't say that we would be "lucky" to be 8-4. I would say that we lost some games we shouldnt have and underpormed to 8-4.

Now, wait a minute. I can see how someone could reasonably question how the Buckeyes could win more than 7 games this season.Tlangs;1960473; said:that is just sour grapes. what 4 teams are going to beat us.

If the person asking the question were Italian, for example, and had no knowledge whatever about American college football.

Chip Kelly said Thursday he has a clear conscience about Oregon?s dealings with Willie Lyles, but that he believes ?everybody?s going to change their philosophy? about recruiting services based on the NCAA?s investigation into the Ducks? relationship with the disgraced former scout.
Kelly was on the East Coast with the rest of the Pac-12?s coaches for the final segment of their three-day preseason media tour that began with Pac-12 Media Day in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
On Thursday, Kelly visited the ESPN campus in Bristol, Conn., for several interviews, and on SportsCenter he was interviewed by Chris Fowler, the College GameDay host.
Fowler began the interview by asking about the Lyles situation, and as he did Tuesday, Kelly acknowledged that Oregon?s law firm, Bond, Schoeneck & King, is investigating the situation and will prepare a report to be released to the public, at which time Kelly will comment fully.
Kelly, however, said that ?my conscience is clear? when asked that specifically by Fowler.
The host then presented to Kelly a hypothetical: What if he were recruiting a player who signed elsewhere, and Kelly discovered that school had a financial arrangement with an adviser close to the player?
Lyles was an adviser to UO running back LaMichael James and Lache Seastrunk while they were being recruited by the Ducks.
Kelly rarely comments on hypotheticals but was willing to entertain this one.
?What would I think?? Kelly said. ?I would think that that?s not the right thing to do. ...
?I understand why everybody looks at the situation,? he continued. ?But until you get all the facts ? I?ve always been a person (that) no matter what the situation is, let me get all the facts first before I make a decision on how I?m going to react or what I?m going to do.?
Kelly then acknowledged that ?I think everybody?s going to change their philosophy? about the use of scouting services in recruiting based on the Lyles situation.
Fowler asked if Oregon would do away completely with using them, and Kelly responded with a grin and a tilt of the head before declining to comment.
But, he reiterated, ?obviously there?s things that I think everybody will learn from this situation.?
Asked when the NCAA?s ruling might come down, Kelly said he had ?no idea.?
?I really don?t,? he said. ?No one gives you a time line. You?ve just got to go to work each day and prepare for playing LSU in the opener.?
