I'd love to see a statistical study on chasing points before the 4th quarter, it seems to come back to bite teams at an alarming rate.

That seems like a pretty safe bet... both offenses are prolific, neither defenses are that great.

The punch was over the line but forgivable. It's the rampage he went on after the punch that brought on the long suspension. Honestly he shouldn't be playing after that pathetic display.

I think gouging someone's eyes would also qualify as assault. That kid missed one game. Blount missed 10 games. Disagree all you like.

When people speak of wanting to play a certain team over the other because that team is better and they want a shot at beating the better team, I tend to agree. I like the strongest competition. There are only TWO instances where I don't. The first one is a NCG. I'd want to play the worst team possible, because obviously who cares who you beat if you win the NC. The other is the Rose Bowl. To me it's different. In other bowls, people don't talk about winning the bowl as much as beating the team. But in the Rose Bowl, at least to me, it's all about winning the bowl. Rose Bowl champion is awesome. I don't care who it is against. Just want to win the Rose Bowl.

Everybody talk about how USC won all those Rose Bowls, but they really never played great teams, a lot times playing the #2 Big Ten team. They just won a lot of Rose Bowls. But it is impressive because it's the Rose Bowl.

Maybe we should hold a public execution? Would that make some of you happy?

I'm beginning to think some of you are afraid he makes their team better, in case we have to play them. I also don't think the cries for a death sentence would be so loud if Blount played for Ohio State. In fact, I'd bet on it.
