One Gargantuan ND Outhouse of a Thread (MERGED)

NDC, i know you have viewed this thread since BFS and I have posted in it (amazing what this site can do ). Let's hear your response. If you want to bow out just admit it. It's more honorable than trying to deflect attention away from ND's weak schedule.

Let's also remember that Brady Quinn and that ND offense will also be using a different offense and different playbook this year, there's going to be some growing pains with that and they're only curable by playing the game, 1 offseason of practice isn't going to make the offense gel in a new set.

OSU - Beat 2 over -rated teams last 2 games-
ND - Got beat by the NC and another team that would have beat Ohio State-

ND - BAD
OSU JUST AS BAD

OSU Just as bad? Wrong. ND didn't get "beat" by the NC, they got fuckin' destroyed. Oh yeah, what other team "would have beat" Ohio State? Oregon State? Please. They were 6-5 going into your bowl game and even after they ass-raped ND, still finished unranked. Oklahoma State was at least ranked going into our Bowl game. You may call Oklahoma State "over-rated" just because it fits into your warped argument, but I'll take the word of major polls over yours any day.

While we lost to two teams we shouldn't have (Northwestern and Purdue, and both were on the road), Notre Dame lost to four teams they shouldn't have (Brigham Young, Purdue, Boston College, and Pittsburgh, and the last three of those were at home).

Bottom line: Notre Dame football ain't shit. Fuck strength of schedule and all that other sissy-assed excuses. You lost to five unranked teams (three at home), and were blown out three times.

What irks me about the proposed BCs-ND arrangement is that ND will accept a hand-out in years when they cannot even sniff a BCS venue.
Sounds like the Stanfords and Indianas and Baylors and Kentuckys of the world. They get BCS money even though they don't sniff a BCS venue

That's an analogy I can live with. Of course, Stanford has much higher academic standards than ND.

The funny thing about all this is that ND fans know we stunk last year while you guys thought you were good! THATS JUST HILLARIOUS...

No, whats funny is the fact that you guys are 11-13 over the past 2 years and haven't won a Bowl game since 1993 and you are on an OSU football board lamely attempting smack talk.

ND's other loss was to 7-5 Oregon State, 4th best in Pac 10 play -- surely your jesting with the above.
Meantime OSU beats Michigan and 7-5 OK State arguabaly 4th best team in Big 12 (convincingly).

No, no NDChief, its not even close. Like you said before even Domers admit ND was flat out bad last year.

It is the same to me if ND shares with other independents.

They don't share the wealth in like manner.

Ergo, it isn't the same to me.

The reality is that Notre Dame isn't like other Independents. By that logic, the top conferences should all share the BCS money equally with the WAC and C-USA and the MWest and all the other minor conferences.

No, "by that logic", all indepedents are actually grouped into a pseudo-conference, and as such should split the wealth amongst themselves just as all other conferences do.

From a 6-6 team that lost 4 of its last 5 games. Where's the "whooped-dee-fucking-do" emoticon?

Not to mention losing to five unranked teams, including three of those at home.

edit: After some research, ND only lost to three unranked teams (BYU, Purdue, and Oregon State). Pitt was barely ranked (25th in AP, unranked in Coaches) and BC was 21st in both polls.
