...well it's worth the thought anyhow - even more recent experience beating an SEC team! I 'll bet the coaches "pick his brain a bit" as he's seen a little bit of dickrod's offense at scum practices and also if we ever get to play Fla again!

I just bumped the 2008 OL Discussion thread so we can have the generic discussion over there.

(Although instead of posting "bump" I went with "ttt". That way somebody will ask what "ttt" means and when I reply I can pad my post count.)

heavy decisions

This all just points out again how tough it is for these young men at 16, 17, being recruited, having to choose something by the age of 18 or so... then the program changes, the coaches who recruited you are GONE, and you are expected to hang in there, or be labeled a quitter.

I'm sure Juston would tell us, it's not an easy decision, and I'm sure he will be a couple years in the NFL before he forgets all about this. He had to have formed some bonds with teammates at tsun... just think how tough that would be.

Let's hope he takes full advantage of his Second Chance to be a Buckeye and let's hope the appreciation he feels in Ohio outweighs the negative words coming from Ann Arbor.

IMO what makes this decision remarkable is that he isn't some kid from New Jersey who doesn't understand the rivalry. His Dad is a UM grad. He had to start watching OSU-UM games when he was 2. He has played in The Game in both stadiums. He had to have felt the hatred from Columbus either during recruitment or when he returned two Novembers ago. Now he is getting it twice as hard from the other side.

UM fans say he left because he didn't want to work. Name a kid who is more motivated to work and prove himself than Justin Boren?

This decision took cahones.


Now, about the OL two deep .......

I am hoping he can teach the scUM technique for holding without getting caught / called.
