The PR damage would be astronomical... boren pays for his recruiting decision, literally... only proven starter on struggling UM offense would rather pay and sit on OSU's bench than stay at UM...
OSU almost went 2 full years without losing a single OH kid to UM head to head... this certainly would not help change that trend.
gonzo, downing, saine, beanie, etc
Can't imagine him passing up a schollie to be a Buckeye, particularly when our cupboard is anything but bare, but if he did it he could become my all time favorite player. Has a transfer between these two schools ever happened?

RE: Boren is gone
We all know what happened - his vag dried up. Retire #65 because only quitters wear that number.

Bolded part is mine - not the words of someone who is eager to quit because he is "soft."“I don’t know if we’ll have any more, but we’re forging ahead with the guys who play for Michigan,” Rodriguez said.
The first-year U-M coach refused to discuss specifics, saying he talks only about guys who play for Michigan.
But Boren told much of the story 10 days earlier, following the team’s first spring practice.
That day he cited the change in the offense and how grueling the first workout was.
He said he had early thoughts about the process and the difficulty of the new conditioning program and how difficult it was for the offensive linemen having to run constantly back to the line of scrimmage in the no-huddle offense.
“We didn’t know what to expect, a lot of screaming and yelling, a lot different, but we’ll get used to it,” Boren said that day. “It’ll just take time.”
The departure was not a shock after those comments ....
m*ch*g*n fans hypocritical?!?!?!?!?!? Whaaaaaaaaaa-whaaaa-whaaaat?!?!?!?!Oh8ch;1124277; said:I know how it works and how quickly fans can turn on their own, but the Michigan reaction to Boren - the anchor and future of their line only two months ago - is among the most hypocritical I can recall.
