i think we can all agree that 99% of the insults and names hurled around sports messageboards are terrible and laughably stupid

"meatchicken" is awful and doesn't even make sense, and for a while i thought that was as bad as it got between michigan and ohio state, but "the gay acorns" is one of the dumbest things i've ever read


anyways, some of the other michigan message boards have people trying to clam everybody down with "trust in RR, he's great" etc, but man, they really can't afford this. a decent o-line would be about the only thing keeping them from pure offensive chaos this year. it's going to be a really interesting summer in ann arbor

Not sure how valid the info is about Boren possibly transfering, but our scUM brethren on the board have yet to denounce it, which makes this interesting to think about.

Keep in mind though that if a player from a Big Ten school transfers to another school in the Big Ten, that player cannot receive an athletic scholarship for football, ala John Kerr transfering to tOSU from Indiana.

I can understand how the rumours start, but this one was kinda stupid.

A moderator said "word on the street is one or two OL are transferring from Michigan."

A commentator then said "I sure hope it's not Boren."

Then wallah, now everybodys' like OMG Boren's transferring we're doomed!

That's also the same moderator who said Zirbel was transferring last Saturday and that never happened.
