Really glad to see him on board. There is something special about an Ohio offensive lineman. Welcome aboard Gavin and I'm excited to see your dream come true!

Agreed 100% The kids that work for an offer like that typically have a work ethic that makes them a starter by year 3/4/5, and end up in the NFL. He could very well redshirt but a guy with the right attitude can usually outperform a 5 star recruit. Particularly at O-Line. I think that is the position where if you don't need immediate depth, I'd take a kid with the right attitude right up there with a 5 star. Skill positions need skill to be elite, linemen need work ethic.Welcome to the Buckeye Family, Gavin!!
Tireless worker, versatile and can play anywhere on the line for us, good technique and coaching, and from everything written about him, he's a good kid (very polite). Love seeing an Ohio kid earning the offer at camp. Those are the kids that go the extra mile and usually pan out big-time. With Warriner in his corner, excited about adding Gavin to this class.

Went looking for the computerbuck smiley and couldn't find it. Too bad because you set it up so perfectly.
Man, what great news! Welcome, Gavin!Welcome to Buckeye Nation Gavin!!
Asked one #Buckeyes source after FNL if a Cupp offer was coming, they weren’t sure. OSU rewatched tape, had to offer.
"My high school, and my hometown," Cupp said. "Are very important to me...............I grew up a huge Buckeye fan and I'm named after Woody Hayes – Gavin Hayes Cupp – so it's almost destiny."
