Let me clarify something, as delicatley as I can. Connor is a great teammate. But to say that he is tight with Mixon or Simpson is laughable. He knows them because they are teammates and classmates, but he is far from best of friends with them. Connor's choice will be his own. Simpson or Mixon will have zero influence in his choice.

boren is under the impression that he is the only interior lineman that michigan is recruiting. boren looks to decide in may or june, smith later. boren committing to michigan would probably leave smith out of the running for an offer.

Anybody heard any recent news on Conner? Things seem to have gone quiet on him for a few days.

After looking at the tapes of him in the playoff game I was big time impressed. All I can say is if the other OL being recruited are equal to Conner... WOW..

From what I have been able to gather, Connor will probably not commit for a long time...I will say this...I had a long talk with one of his buddies (I am friends with his father) and he told me that Connor DOES NOT like scUM all that much. Take it for what its worth. Don't expect any devolpments in the next few weeks as the Colerain basketball team won a sectional title on Saturday and Connor is bench/roll player on the team.

You know, I was/have been thinking the same exact thing the last few days. Boren obviously is no the only OLman they are recruiting if they have offered others. This could be the reason there are reports that Boren is a Buckeye lean right now.... because scUM straight-up lied to his face.

What was posted in the Boren thread wasn't so strong as that--it was that Boren was under the impression that he was the only interior lineman that Michigan was pursuing. This was the post:

Conner talks about tOSU and Michigan being his main two schools, he states that Boston College and Miami (OH) have fallen off a bit. He is looking at Auburn, LSU and Florida, but has a desire to not go to far away from home. Smith says he will definetly commit before the season starts and probably before this school year is out.

if that is the case, I should be able to get the scoop on his choice before it hits the any place else on the net. I'll be sure to keep you all posted.

this premium article from GBW says he was offered by Michigan...it is the most recent article done by either Michigan site.

word on the BN free board is that he was not that impressed with Michigan or Coach Carr...take it for what it's worth.
