Connor will not be committing any time soon. I have it on good authority that the Miami Hurricanes are trying to get into the mix and that Connor (and Colerain) has sent all of last seasons game tapes to Coral Gables.

Word on the BN premium board is that Connor may commit to OSU soon...I don't want to post any more than that because it isn't fair to the person who originally posted the info on the BN board. Take it for what it's worth, although I consider the source to be rather reliable...

Well, I hope you are right. If and when I see Connor this week I will ask him about it...but when I talked to him last week he was far from making a choice....I'll take my source over a poster on BN...:) :wink2:

No disrespect at all...I think we all value your input on this. The BN poster's source happens to be a Colerain coach, but if your source is Connor himself, then I think we all know who to follow...

no problem. I don't want to start any negative posts or waves about this. I saw Connor last week with my buddy's son and I asked him about it. That is how I found out abou the tapes being sent to Miami. Perhaps the Colerain coach knows more about the situation then I do.

I do not subscribe to BN so I did not know that a Colerain coach was posting. I hope they are right because Connor is a smart kid with a nastiness in him that will endear him to the hearts of Buckeye fans everywhere.

The poster that made the statement isnt a coach, he got an email from a reliable friend who is good friend's with one of the Colerain coaches.

GBW caught up with Cincinnati Colerain head coach Kerry Coombs recently and chatted with him about a couple of his current players that made it up to junior day. We also discussed one of his departing seniors…Mister Simpson.

Coach describes Conner as a "finisher", he finishes his blocks off extremely well and plays with great intensity. Touched on his recruitment, they hope to have the list of schools narrowed to 5 to 10 before the May recruiting period. Education is his #1 priority in his recruitment.
