OL Coach/Run Game Coordinator Justin Frye (Official Thread)

Let's use Texas as an example. They have a veteran offensive line. Ohio State has a brand new offensive line and it takes time to gel.
Free Shoes has an OL comprised of almost all transfers, they’re only non transfer Ol starter is the OC. They have 2 guys who just transferred in this season. Outside of Simmons, the whole OSU OL was recruited to play at OSU. And FSU looks like a top 3 team and worlds better than OSU. It takes time to gel, but it also seems like FSU’s coaches have found a way to find success with their OL, while it doesn’t seem like it’s resonating with OSU players.

Wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility that Donovan slides to LT, and Enokk takes his place. Might give up some mobility, but gain in savvy. It appears our back up OGs are better than our backup OTs. And Donovan, being tOSU's best OLman, might apperar to be the answer. Might have to take back the mobility piece, as didn't I see were LG pulled and swept to the right? Doesn't that take footwork? Hey, if tOSU can play four tackles, certainly can wing it with three guards.....anyway, Frye'll 'get it', hopefully sooner than later. He still has several great recruiting chips to play. Wondering how much his prior relationship with Baker will hold water...
