Day was 2 years slow on the draw to get rid of Studwara and then replaced him with someone equally incompetent.

It isn't a bunch of shitty assistants that are the problem.

Not gonna completely throw Frye under the bus yet since I think the 2022 OL was at least better than 2021 and the run game struggles felt like they were caused by both bad play calling and a mostly dead RB room rather than bad blocking. Plus I thought the OL generally got somewhat better as the year went on.

Tonight was a fucking disgrace though. Not sure if its because of a lack of talent from recruiting misses or what.

Hey Walton turned some of the worst CB play I’ve seen into arguably the best unit on the team, so it can be done.

Yea run play calling is completely atrocious. Day loves continuing to roll out things that he seemingly likes that clearly don’t work in that department

Day IMO is a man who clearly is stuck in his ways on these things, we will keep getting these plays that never work constantly until he is no longer making the decisions.

I’m not saying Frye is the answer, but I do know that what I see from the line and the run game is not what I saw from Frye’s units at Boston College or UCLA so I’m inclined to believe he’s probably not the big problem here.

They wouldn’t play anybody else than the 5 that started. Most OL pro or CFP play more than 5 ..I don’t think it’s a good thing they were healthy all year.

5 star types or a bunch of fall back 3 star kids he could coach up?
