This is pretty harsh. I don't see any justification for slamming a kid who was conflicted about his college choice for a long time, then was confronted with the unpleasant departure of the man who was likely his biggest reason for coming to Columbus.

I wish Ejuan the best, wherever he ends up, though I won't especially cheer his progress. Brian Bobek? Looking forward to seeing a lot of him!

I wasn't trying to be harsh....but If he never "felt compfortable" here why did he sign? probably because we send linebackers to the NFL like crazy. Not bashing the kid since that is a great reason to pick OSU. I thnk you need to be sold on both to be successful so he made the right choice to leave. I hope he has a great career at Pitt or wherever he ends up.

I respect your opinion but I find it hard to wish a kid who signed with OSU and then decide to go elsewhere without even starting classes anything but an injury free career. I understand things have changed but if he wasnt 100% sold on the University then he should not have signed and possibly taken a spot from someone who would've stayed. Just my opinion though.

And now to bring this back to Brian's thread, I cannot wait to watch him play in the 'Shoe as he sounds alot like another OSU lineman I am a big fan of....Nick Mangold....

Agreed. I still cannot believe Iowa never offered this kid considering his Dad played there and he was a fan of the Hawkeyes. He will be a good one.

Happens to people all the time, look at the amount of kids who think they picked the right college but transfer out after their first year.

Apparently, Bobek will be the starting center next year for tOSU?

Who will be his backup in the two deep roster? What if he goes down?

There is no word at all about Meyer recruiting a center, though there is lots of noise about tackles (which are another position of need).

That's because OSU has guys who can fill in at center (Mewhort) but can't safely fill out a 1 deep at tackle without converting Reid.

Lovell Peterson also looks like a great center prospect in the 2013 class.
