I cannot believe that more was not made about the fact the Boone almost got in a fist fight on that return kick! I thought to myself..who is that psycho and then I thought man...that kid is freeken HUGE :yow1: Then I saw it was Boone and I got a warm feeling all over. I love kids that get into fights at a scrimage!

.....Linemen. Well, there is a ton to talk about. Offensively, for the East, they were all very impressive during the week. Some had better days than others. But to a man, all seven of these guys are very, very talented – Eugene Monroe (Plainfield, N.J.), Alex Boone (Lakewood, Ohio - photo right), Chris Scott (Lovejoy, Ga.), Dan Doering (Barrington, Ill.- photo right), Dace Richardson (Wheaton, Ill.), Michael Oher (Memphis, Tenn.) and Marques Slocum (Philadelphia, Pa.). Boone was probably the most consistent of the bunch while Slocum showed he may be the best athlete of the bunch. They all have “it” and should be very good at the next level. On the West side, Reggie Youngblood (Houston, Texas) stood above all the others. After a horrible first day he showed why he deserved to be there. Another West OL standout was Josh McNeil (Collins, Ms.). He is a great team guy and the nation’s top center prospect. McNeil has all the tools to be an outstanding player in Knoxville and will only get bigger and stronger.....

The Army Allstar game was the first time I was able to watch Boone play. Man, he did not disappoint. I ended up watching him almost every play, since it was clear that the East's coach wasn't going to display his running backs.

I agree he was awesome out there. Hopefully Gwaltney realizes what he will have to run behind and we would then have a powerful back, quick back and powerful line to go with our fast wr's. I don't even think tress will be able to stall that offense.

One question. Now I am sure they have plenty, but has USC been recruiting some good OL prospects. I know they got that center last year (Jeff Byers?) who was supposed to be all world, but who else? We are stacked with young, talented OLmen for a few years.. with plenty coming next year I am sure... and my thinking is that we should have one of the best in the country.

.......The Sky’s the Limit - Dan Doering and Alex Boone can play football as long as they choose. Both are hard workers and are always looking to get better. Having to go against Roy Miller, DeMarcus Granger and Jerrell Powe gave them a pretty good idea on where they stand as football players and what kind of work they need to do to take their game to the next level.......

osu has brought in 5 quality OL between last year and this.

next year is stacking up to be a banner OL crop in-state. if osu plans on taking 4 nedt year, they probably wont have to go oos. while using theterm looselu, there are probably at least 3 maybe 4 4* caliber OL in state next year.

osu was very selective with offers this year. i would like to see them come out hard next year and wrap up a lot of in-state talent as early as possible.
