Oklahoma dismisses QB Bomar/NCAA probation

From what ive read the okla team feels they will be okay and the loses wont matter much. sounds like self preservation to me.

:oh: :io:

I haven't seen that mentioned before. Some guy posted on January 30th on the Aggie board that his girlfriend worked in a car dealership and that Bomar was getting huge checks without showing up at work - and got reamed by Aggie fans.

I would imagine the NCAA would want to talk to that young woman.

So friggin hilarious that when Aggiegrant posted this, the board ran him into the ground and locked the thread thinking he was a troll. When it turns out to be true they are now boasting about how TexAgs broke the story and how it was a history making thread.

There was a joke made in this thread a while back about how ESPN will find a way to spin this Oklahoma fiasco into OSUs backroom. Well, it officially happend yesterday.

Last night I caught the end of "Sports Reporters" and it officially made me a part of the "I hate Steven A. Smith" club. His sign off (all of them get a small segment) was about the Oklahoma situation and how it related to us?!? He went on to say that even though we are ranked #1, it doesnt take away from all the problems going on in Columbus with the Buckeyes....I was just simply amazed...WTF?!

After five months of yelling nothing but crap about Shaq and Kobe, I'm not shocked he thinks we still have that "cloud" over our heads.

I saw that. I did a very rare thing for me, and un-muted the TV when I saw tOSU clips as he was 'Screamin'. It was unreal, but not worthy of a response on my part to him or his network.

Im guessing ESPN used the simple word association (prior to on-air):

Howie Schaub: "OSU is number 1, therefore we MUST drag them through some mud in the preseason.....hmmmm....."

"Jim Tressel and Bob Stoops both have history from Youngstown Ohio..."

"Since Bob Stoops is head coach of a disorderly team, and Tressel once had a player with a problem, we can group them together and call it a day...Hey Steven A. Smith, you agree?"

Steven A. Smith: "Oh Fo' Shizzle...Next up, how both the Buckeyes and Sooners will be banned from college football by September 2nd. And later on, we will be rehashing my segments on the 10million dollar slave - the black athlete."
