Overall, a pretty good showing with our full lineup. Minnesota stalled a ton to keep it even remotely close. My specific thoughts in order of the dual after I got to watch the whole thing

184: Martin is on a mission and seriously, I think he has stepped it up more than any wrestler on this team. He destroyed a quality opponent. I think Bo Nickal should be getting a little nervous, Myles looks fantastic.

197: Steveson stalled SO MUCH but...Kollin needed to finish. He got in deep on a lot of shots that should have led to points, yet he ended up in a stalemate or bailed out. Kollin keeps winning, but I am admittedly a little worried on his recent matches. I love his aggressiveness, but he needs to dominate against lesser opponents, particularly in the 3rd. Should have been a 10+ point win.

Hwt: Not worth commenting on..he is just so good. Best wrestler in the world.

125: I really thought NaTo would take Liazk's lunch money...he did. Not even close. Constant attacks, nonstop pressure, and absolute controls in his ties. I am interested to see if Suriano or Lee can give him a match but right now, I really don't think either can compete. Great match for NaTo. He looks like an absolute tank, no idea how he is getting down to 125 but I like it.

133: A stall the whole way but Luke needs to take over matches like this. If he cannot get bonus in this match, he just never will. That being said, still undefeated Luke. Way to go.

141: McKenna looked awful after the first takedown....zero mat awareness on not getting turned there. Really just hope it was a bad night. The good news is that I could see Joey beating Thorn the same way next time.

149: Hayes looked great, no worries at all.

157: Mic started slow but ended up dominating a good opponent.

165: I am a little worried here... Campbell needs to step it up.

174: Bo is fine, just need him to take 3rd at NCAA's.

The only thing I can figure with Campbell is that he is dinged up to the point where he's not getting the cardio work and that's why he's gassing so early. Right now I have him as a R12 guy and no higher. He's got 6 weeks to pull it together before B1G but right now he's trending down.

Looking ahead to the Iowa match I have it at 21-9 in favor of OSU. I don't see Iowa winning more than 3 matches total (149, 157 & 165) and Micah against Kemmerer should be interesting and could go either way. Would love to see Pat Downey show up and wrestle either Martin or Moore.

I am with you. I see it as: NaTo gets a decision over Lee (really excited to see that match), Pletcher with a decision (although his opponent isn't great, he almost never gets bonus), McKenna with a major or tech, Sorensen over Hayes by decision, Kemmerer over M. Jordan by decision (think that could go either way), Marinelli over Campbell by decision (could go either way but Marinelli is getting hot while Campbell is on the decline right now), B. Jordan by major decision over Gunther (this could actually be a decision, Gunther is solid), Martin by major decision or tech over Bowman, Moore by decision over Wilcke (maybe a major), and Snyder my major decision over Stoll. That would come out to be about 24-9, which would be a very good win over Iowa imo.
