Ohio State Wrestling (2015/2017/2018 B1G Champs, 2015 National Champs, 2019 National Runners-up)

Racking up bonus points with Bouzakis and Feldman is nice, but likely needed Kharchla to win there to have a shot to win the team title. Probably need all or most of Bouzakis, Mendez, D'Emilio (just won to get into the 3rd place match, will face a very tough #2 Parco in that one), Kharchla, and Feldman to win, plus some losses for Iowa State and Nebraska. That said, we are right there in the team race and have a shot at it.

Feldman is getting toasted, unless he gets a miracle fall he with be wrestling for 5th. Guess I was off on how ready he is, probably needs to add another 15-20 pounds to get to the top.

Edit: Got pinned...hopefully there is plenty of time to bulk up before next year.

Notable rankings moves for Ohio State:

Also, some interesting Ironman tourney/recruiting news. Blaze and Devino are both wrestling at 132, should be an epic match when they face in the finals (pretty sure that is a when and not an if, even in a stacked 132 class). If you have Flo and can watch, the Perrysburg kids in general should be tough...#6 Ayden Dodd should be a good one at 106, #3 Burnett at 113 should be a really good wrestler and OSU is already in touch, and Blaze at 132 of course...Perrysburg is going to have Tom Ryan and company there a lot in the next 3-4 years. Same goes for St. Ed's...I despise them with my background but they have a ton of guys worth watching in terms of potential Buckeyes. We also have commits Ethan Birden from Dublin Coffman ranked #5 at 165 and Carter Neeves at HWT at #3 from Blair.

If anyone is interested in the team race and individual weight races, down to talk that too. One of the most exciting tourneys in wrestling every year and a ton of potential Buckeye recruits out there.
