Ohio State Women's Basketball (2023-24 B1G CHAMPS)

44-31 at the half and the murder quarter is coming up! I'd like to see Mika play better going into the tournaments. She needs to boost the teams inside game even if it's only taking up space against other bigs. I can't help but watch the other teams like Stanford and SCarolina and worry about their big players just eating us alive.

My point all season BestBuck. Every game she gets spun around, out hustled, out jumped (believe she has a two inch vertical). However she has gotten it done against B10 competition. PS, one might notice that Taylor Thierry jumps center, not Mika. McDuff recruits guards very well (not that two of top four all time female scorers were coached by McDuff), but haven't been impressed with his bigs. Dorkas and Alliaya Patty (?) both transferred at the same time (not idea why), and thrust Mika into a starting role. The freshman big a) hasn't gotten much game time; b) is maybe less mobile than Mika.

I was wonderingf why the Lady Bucks ranked outside the top 2, but they have played a weak schedule. Not sure how far they can go, but geez I love this team.
Say what? They are number 2 not sure what rankings you are looking at. They played a pretty decent schedule, I wouldn't say it was weak at all. Played USC and UCLA out of conference and Tennessee. Then 2 or 3 against Iowa and Indiana by NCAA tournament time plus a lot of middle road teams that play great one game and crap the next. They are at least average on SOS this year.
