Ohio State Women's Basketball (2023-24 B1G CHAMPS)

We may start off the victory against SC at 2:30 today with 5 Star Jensen Caretti announcing for the Buckeyes over South Carolina and others. This to go with 5 Star point guard Kiara Lewis out of Chicago, and there is chatter that another 5 Star, #10 ranked, forward Tori McCoy will announce for the Buckeyes on Monday. This would put them well into discussion for the top class in the country, to go along with the 2 transfers. McGuff is putting together something special.

This is why I don't watch women's basketball
I do not know if we were watching a women's basketball game or not. At least not a complete one.. The players from Uconn looked like they might be not totally all their if you get my drift.. I also wonder about Geno. Not so much the man but I wonder about his recruiting and if any offers (see Kentucky basketball) are made.. Maybe one of these days the whole truth will come out. If they are doing everything aboveboard, props to them.

"The players from Uconn looked like they might be not totally all their if you get my drift"

I don't get your drift. What exactly are you saying? The players looked like they might not be totally all their (sic)?? What in the world are you talking about? You can wonder about Geno all you want, but none of the stupid, petty charges of NCAA recruiting violations that other coaches have made against UConn have never amounted to anything. What "whole truth" are you referring to? You don't think a high profile basketball program like the UConn women's program is constantly being scrutinized by the NCAA?
UConn plays under a microscope every season.

But I think I understand your logic..... because UConn has been successful for so many years and won so many National Championships, it can't possibly be because they have very talented players and the best coaching staff in WCBB. It MUST be because they're cheating. Is that right? Because it sure sounds like what you're saying.

So, if you have a few moments, I'd love for you to explain your comments.

Well for your first post on BP, you certainly took me to task. I wonder if you graduated from UConn. My reference to their woman players was that they seem very developed for women who have played basketball all of their lives. They might have given Grambling State a run for their money last night.

With respect to Geno, I just look at the men's program under Calhoun and remember how good they were for a number of years and I believe something went south with that program. I just find it hard to believe that a program cannot sustain itself for so many years without some shenanigans going on. I do not know how far you go back but even UCLA under the guidance of John Wooden were not completely above board and I hate to say that because I really admire Wooden.

Come on, Litl, you're better than this. We are fans (and some are graduates) of one of the top football college programs in the country, should we be OK with others questioning our integrity? Let's not make unfounded accusations.
