Game Thread Ohio State vs Oklahoma, 09/09/17 @ 7:30 ET (ABC)

But I just don't see the same result this time against a motivated Sooner squad. And OU's defense will have a chip on its shoulder.
So basically you're saying Oklahoma wasn't that motivated playing the Buckeyes at home last year. And they definitely should have had a chip after playing TT = 854 yds.

btw, when Cumberland lost to Georgia Tech 222-0 they only gave up 522 yds. :roll1: hmm, maybe the TT game was the tipping point for big game Bob.

Anyways, if you're looking for an honest answer on where I think OU's weaknesses are and how they could lose this game???

Well, basically if OSU comes out and executes the same gameplan as last year in which Urban throws opposite Jordan Thomas as I still think our left side of the defensive backfield is a liability. Although a bit better than last year, but OSU could have some success on that side again.

well we're obviously fucked then cuz i can't imagine anyone at tOSU thinking to try literally the exact same thing we did last year....

Another would be if OSU's defensive front wins the battle at the LOS in the same level Florida dominated OU's offense in the 2008 National Title game, although UF had insane defensive tackles in comparison to OSU's defensive line right now. As well as Lincoln Riley not being as predictable with the play-calling like KW was at the time.

... so your saying if the strongest unit on our team wins... tOSU wins..? i can certainly understand why you would have so many doubts about a unit that everyone with a pulse is dubbing one of the best dlines in the country. clearly we are doomed.

random question, how many paint chips would you say you eat in a day? just curious.

And this has to do with Saturday's game, how?
Oh my bad, I googled the wrong Sugar Bowl. This one down below should be more recent.

I couldn't find the one where J. Evans laid the lumber on Auburn quarterback Sean White near the goal line, but I guess the run where Perine broke Billy Sims' school record will have to do.

Really a shame we're never going to be able to stop him. Oh wait, he's in the NFL.

How Orlando Brown and Sam Hubbard Came to Tip the Scales of Oklahoma vs. Ohio State
ANDY STAPLES AND BRUCE FELDMAN
Thursday September 7th, 2017

Orlando Brown was a 450-pound eighth-grader who shed 110 pounds between middle school and his redshirt junior year at Oklahoma. Sam Hubbard is a former lacrosse player who has packed 52 pounds onto his frame since arriving at Ohio State. When the Sooners and Buckeyes meet in Columbus in Week 2, the two will collide on the line of scrimmage, and whichever player gets the better of the other could swing one of the most important non-conference games of 2017. Andy Staples (Brown) and Bruce Feldman (Hubbard) tell the stories behind both sides of a matchup that could change the course of the season.

Cont'd ...

Let's say Andrews gets 7 catches for 130 and 2 TDs. Then what? They aren't going to be able to run so the only way that Oklahoma can win is for the Buckeye offense to make too many mistakes, turnovers, special teams scores or something crazy.

Give them another score by a big play or one of their WR's getting loose. Buckeyes need 28 to win in my opinion. Can OU prevent that? I say, NO.

2nd half score makes it 41-23 Buckeyes.

I forgot to point out OSU's defensive front will be facing that same offensive line! :)
The one from last year? That we're not supposed to talk about. That you somehow find a way to crow over a game you got laughed off the field, using players that aren't even on the team anymore.

Remove your head from your ass. PLEASE.
